New & Used 2026 Toyota Camry for Sale nearVal-des-Sources, QC

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — you rated it 5/5, and our experts give it 7.83/10. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

The 2026 Toyota Camry is built around practicality rather than flash, which fits a buyer who wants an affordable, efficient, and safe midsize sedan. It is one of the few remaining midsize sedans on sale in North America, and it is aimed at shoppers who want something familiar, easy to live with, cheap to own, and known for dependability.

It is also described as comfortable and good to drive, which helps offset its more restrained personality. The trade-offs are clear: the styling is uninspired, cargo space is limited, and the stereo is lacking.

With 34.5% of listings priced as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Camry’s appeal is rooted in its reputation for dependability, and the 2026 model continues that theme with a standard hybrid powertrain and a straightforward, practical setup. Our experts also describe it as cheap to own, which supports the case for long-term durability-minded ownership.

Toyota’s hybrid system is presented as tried-and-true, and the car’s overall mission is to be simple, frugal, and dependable. The maintenance and ownership picture is helped by Toyota’s connected-service coverage, including a five-year trial for Service Connect and Safety Connect, plus a three-year trial for Remote Connect.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about whether the car’s modest cargo space and restrained personality fit your needs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Toyota Camry?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE FWD is the entry point, while the SE Upgrade AWD adds a Nightshade package option, and the XLE AWD and XSE AWD sit above it. The Nightshade version stands out for satin black 19-inch wheels, gloss black exterior detailing, and a black interior with SofTex artificial leather upholstery and matching fabric accents. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more equipment.
• Powertrain: The Camry uses a single hybrid system built around a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and electric motors. FWD models make 225 horsepower, while AWD versions add a rear motor and increase output to 232 hp. Fuel economy ranges from 5.0 to 5.5 litres per 100 kilometres combined, depending on trim and drivetrain.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every 2026 Camry and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centring assist, road sign assist, and high beam assist. Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit warning are also standard.
• Infotainment: More affordable trims use an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM, and a six-speaker audio system. The 12.3-inch touchscreen is reserved for the XLE and XSE models in Canada, and it adds cloud-based navigation, destination assistance, and an Intelligent Assistant voice system.
• Fuel efficiency: FWD Camrys have an official Natural Resources Canada rating of 5.0 L/100 km combined, and fuel economy ranges from 5.0 to 5.5 litres per 100 kilometres combined depending on trim and drivetrain.

Which 2026 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: SE FWD, SE Upgrade AWD, XLE AWD, and XSE AWD.

Here's the short version:

• SE FWD: This is the most affordable way into the Camry, and it still gives you the standard hybrid powertrain, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the core efficiency that defines the car. It makes the most sense if you want the lowest-cost Camry and do not need the extra equipment found higher up.
• SE Upgrade AWD: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds the Nightshade package option and AWD capability while keeping the Camry’s core strengths intact. If you want a more distinctive look and extra traction without moving too far up the price ladder, this is the trim to focus on.
• XLE AWD: This is the more comfort- and tech-oriented choice, especially because it is one of the trims that can get the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen in Canada. It suits you if you want a more upscale Camry experience.
• XSE AWD: This is the sportier-looking and sport-tuned option, and it also can get the larger touchscreen. Choose it if you want the most expressive Camry in the lineup rather than the most value-focused one.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every trim, so you do not need to move up the range to get the core safety package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it is worth shopping carefully rather than rushing.

• Inventory: There are 177 listings available.

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2026 Toyota Camry earns five-star ratings in every individual NHTSA assessment, and the IIHS names it a Top Safety Pick+.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every 2026 Camry and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centring assist, road sign assist, and high beam assist. Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit warning are also standard.

Proactive Driving Assist is also part of TSS 3.0, and it can help monitor following distances and avoid obstacles even when adaptive cruise control is not in use. The main caveat is that lane-centring can feel unnatural in some curves, and adaptive cruise control can scrub off too much speed in bends.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a sporty Nightshade Edition package for the SE Upgrade AWD.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It introduced the Camry’s new hybrid-only formula, fresh styling, and updated technology.

The bottom line: If you want the latest Camry with the current trim mix and the added Nightshade package, the 2026 is the cleaner choice. If you are shopping mainly on price, the 2025 may be the better value path, especially if you find a well-priced example with the equipment you want.
