Used 2026 Toyota Camry for Sale nearKelowna, BC

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — you rate it 5/5, and CarGurus experts rate it 7.8/10. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

The 2026 Toyota Camry is built around practicality, which is exactly what makes it distinctive. It is affordable, efficient, and safe, and it remains one of the few midsize sedans still sold in North America. In Canada, it is available in four trim levels, and each one comes with a standard hybrid powertrain. That combination gives the Camry a clear appeal for you if you want a straightforward daily driver with low running costs and a strong safety reputation.

It is also described as comfortable and good to drive, with easy-to-use technology adding to its everyday appeal. The Camry’s strengths are reinforced by its fuel efficiency and great safety ratings, while its drawbacks are more about character and practicality than capability: the styling is uninspired, cargo space is limited, and the stereo is lacking. For shoppers who value dependability and efficiency over excitement, the 2026 Toyota Camry makes a sensible case for itself.

With 35.9% of listings priced as good or great deals, there is still some room to find a worthwhile example.

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Toyota Camry is presented as a dependable, low-stress hybrid sedan that is cheap to own and built for everyday use. Its standard hybrid powertrain is a major part of that story, and the model’s practical focus lines up with Toyota’s long-running reputation for durability and ease of ownership.

The performance notes also support that impression: the hybrid system is described as tried-and-true, and the car’s balance of ride and handling suggests a mature, well-sorted package rather than something experimental. On the cost side, Toyota’s hybrid family-car pitch is reinforced by the Camry’s efficiency and standard hybrid setup.

The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about mechanical drama and more about living with a car that prioritizes efficiency and simplicity over excitement or versatility.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Toyota Camry?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE FWD is the entry point, while the SE Upgrade FWD package adds equipment; the SE Upgrade AWD with the Nightshade package brings satin black 19-inch wheels, gloss black exterior detailing, and a black interior with SofTex artificial leather upholstery. The XLE AWD and XSE AWD sit higher in the range, and the XLE and XSE are the trims that get the larger touchscreen. The base setup is the most stripped-back, so you should check whether the features you want are included before you buy.
• Powertrain: Every 2026 Camry uses a hybrid system with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and electric motors. Front-wheel-drive models produce 225 horsepower, while all-wheel-drive versions add a third electric motor and increase output to 232 hp. Fuel economy ranges from 5.0 to 5.5 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving, depending on trim and drivetrain.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every Camry and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centring assist, road sign assist, and high beam assist. Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit warning are also standard.
• Infotainment: More affordable trims get an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The XLE and XSE models get a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, and Drive Connect is available on those higher grades. The system also includes connected services, with cloud-based navigation, destination assistance, and an Intelligent Assistant voice system on the larger screen.
• Fuel efficiency: FWD Camrys have an official Natural Resources Canada rating of 5.0 L/100 km combined, and fuel economy ranges from 5.0 to 5.5 litres per 100 kilometres depending on trim and drivetrain.

Which 2026 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: SE FWD, SE Upgrade AWD, XLE AWD, and XSE AWD.

Here's the short version:

• SE FWD: This is the most affordable way into the Camry, and it still gives you the standard hybrid powertrain, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning, and the 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It makes the most sense if you want the lowest-cost Camry without giving up the core features.
• SE Upgrade AWD: This is the best-value choice if you want more style and traction. It adds the Nightshade package’s blacked-out look and AWD, while keeping the Camry’s efficiency and standard safety equipment. It is the trim that best balances price, appearance, and all-weather usability.
• XLE AWD: This is the more comfort-focused choice, and it is one of the trims that gets the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen. If you want a more upscale daily driver and value the bigger infotainment display, this is the trim to consider.
• XSE AWD: This is the sportier-looking upper trim, and it also gets the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen. It suits you if you want the most premium-feeling Camry in this lineup without moving away from the model’s efficiency-first character.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every trim, so you do not need to move up the range to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Toyota Camry?

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2026 Camry earns five-star ratings in every individual NHTSA assessment, and the IIHS names it a Top Safety Pick+.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every 2026 Camry and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centring assist, road sign assist, and high beam assist. Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit warning are also standard.

Proactive Driving Assist is also part of TSS 3.0. It can be turned on or off and is designed to help monitor following distances and avoid obstacles even when adaptive cruise control is not active.

The main caveat is that lane-centring can feel unnatural in some curves, and adaptive cruise control can scrub off too much speed in gentler bends.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the hybrid-only formula, adds a Nightshade package for the SE Upgrade AWD, and remains a safe, efficient daily driver.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It introduced the hybrid-only redesign and brought a new look, new features, and strong value.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of this efficient, safe, and easy-to-live-with sedan, the 2026 Camry is the better default choice. If you are shopping mainly on price, the 2025 is worth a look because it delivers the same basic hybrid-era Camry formula and may be easier to find at a lower asking price.
