Used 2026 Toyota Camry for Sale nearSechelt, BC

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — 5/5 from owners and 7.8/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

The 2026 Toyota Camry is built around practicality rather than flash, and that fits you well if you want an affordable, efficient, and safe midsize sedan. It is one of the few remaining midsize sedans on sale in North America, and it is aimed at buyers who want something familiar, easy to live with, cheap to own, and known for dependability.

It is also comfortable and good to drive, which helps balance its more restrained personality. The trade-offs are clear: the styling is uninspired, cargo space is limited, and the stereo is lacking.

For Canadian shoppers, the Camry’s appeal is strongest if you value everyday usability over excitement, and the market shows 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Camry is described as cheap to own and known for dependability, which lines up with its practical, low-drama character. Its hybrid-only setup is presented as tried-and-true, and the car’s overall focus is on efficiency, safety, and everyday ease rather than complexity.

Toyota’s performance content also points to a robust hybrid system that feels quick enough for most owners, while the cost-effectiveness content reinforces the idea that this is a simple, frugal car that should suit long-term use well. If you are buying used, the main ownership risk is less about mechanical drama and more about living with its modest cargo space and unexciting personality.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Toyota Camry?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE FWD is the entry point, while the SE Upgrade FWD package adds equipment, the SE Upgrade AWD brings all-wheel drive, and the XLE AWD and XSE AWD sit higher in the range. The Nightshade package adds a sportier look with satin black 19-inch wheels and gloss black exterior detailing, but it is only available on the SE Upgrade AWD. Base-trim shoppers should pay close attention to feature gaps versus the better-equipped versions.
• Powertrain: Every 2026 Camry uses a hybrid system built around a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and electric motors. Front-wheel-drive models make 225 horsepower, while all-wheel-drive versions add a rear electric motor and increase output to 232 hp. Fuel economy ranges from 5.0 to 5.5 L/100 km combined, depending on trim and drivetrain.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centring assist, road sign assist, and high beam assist. Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit warning are also standard.
• Infotainment: More affordable trims get an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 12.3-inch touchscreen is reserved for the XLE and XSE models in Canada, and Drive Connect is optional on lower grades.
• Fuel efficiency: FWD Camrys have an official Natural Resources Canada rating of 5.0 L/100 km combined, and overall fuel economy ranges from 5.0 to 5.5 L/100 km combined depending on trim and drivetrain.

Which 2026 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: SE FWD, SE Upgrade AWD, XLE AWD, and XSE AWD.

Here's the short version:

• SE FWD: This is the most affordable way into the Camry, and it still gives you the standard hybrid powertrain, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the core efficiency that defines the car. It is the value pick if you want the Camry experience without paying for extras.
• SE Upgrade AWD: This is the best-value choice if you want all-wheel drive and a more complete feature set without jumping to the top trims. It also serves as the base for the Nightshade package, which adds the sportier visual treatment.
• XLE AWD: This is the more comfort-leaning choice, and it is also one of the trims that gets the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen in Canada. Choose it if you want a more upscale daily driver.
• XSE AWD: This is the most style- and sport-oriented trim in the lineup, and it also gets the 12.3-inch touchscreen. It suits you best if you want the Camry’s efficiency and safety with the most premium-feeling presentation.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every trim, so you do not need to move up the range for the core safety suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find decent value.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 180 listings available.

Is the 2026 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2026 Camry earns five-star ratings in every individual NHTSA test, and the IIHS names it a Top Safety Pick+.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every 2026 Camry and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centring assist, road sign assist, and high beam assist. Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit warning are also standard.

Proactive Driving Assist is also part of TSS 3.0, and it can help monitor following distances and avoid obstacles even when adaptive cruise control is not in use. The main caveat is that lane-centring can feel unnatural in some curves, and adaptive cruise control can scrub off too much speed in tighter bends.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a sporty Nightshade Edition package for the SE Upgrade AWD and a new Cosmos Blue paint colour.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It introduced the Camry’s new hybrid-only formula, fresh styling, and updated technology.

The bottom line: If you want the latest Camry with the current trim mix and the added Nightshade package, the 2026 is the straightforward choice. If you are shopping mainly on price, a 2025 may be worth a look because it already delivers the core hybrid efficiency, value, and safety that define this generation.
