New & Used 2026 Toyota 4Runner for Sale nearVictoria, BC

Is the 2026 Toyota 4Runner a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Toyota 4Runner earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. It is a full redesign that keeps the rugged, body-on-frame character you expect from a 4Runner, while adding standard four-wheel drive in Canada, a modern eight-speed automatic, and a more advanced infotainment setup. If you want a large SUV that still leans hard into off-road capability and truck-based durability, this one fits that brief well. 19.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2026 Toyota 4Runner reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Toyota 4Runner is built around a rugged, body-on-frame layout and standard four-wheel drive, which supports its reputation for durability and capability. Toyota also pairs it with a new eight-speed automatic and a modern turbocharged engine lineup, suggesting a more up-to-date mechanical package than earlier versions. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a truck-based SUV with this much capability may bring higher running costs than a more car-like alternative.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota 4Runner or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 19.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It introduced the redesigned 4Runner with more capability, comfort, and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the redesigned 4Runner with the latest equipment and a broader trim spread, the 2026 is the better default choice. If your priority is value, the 2025 is worth a look because it delivers the core redesign benefits and may give you more room to negotiate.

How does the 2026 Toyota 4Runner compare to the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The 4Runner is the more truck-like, off-road-focused choice, while the Grand Cherokee gives you more listings and a higher share of good or great deals. If you want standard four-wheel drive and a rugged body-on-frame feel, the 4Runner is the better fit. If you want more shopping flexibility and a lower starting price, the Grand Cherokee deserves a close look.
