New & Used 2026 RAM 1500 for Sale near Harrowsmith, ON

Is the 2026 RAM 1500 a good car?

Generally — you’re looking at a 4.3/5 user rating and an 8.00/10 expert rating, which points to a truck that lands strongly with shoppers who want breadth of choice and a more premium feel. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Technology.

The 2026 RAM 1500 stands out because Ram has brought the Hemi V8 back for the model year, giving you a characterful engine choice alongside the broader lineup. It also offers premium interior materials in high-end models, plus luxurious and off-road-ready versions, so you can steer it toward comfort, capability, or a mix of both.

The trade-offs are clear: advanced safety features are not standard, and there is no base two-door work truck. If you want a full-size pickup with lots of configuration flexibility and a strong personality, this one fits that brief well.

30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a moderate amount of market choice.

Is the 2026 RAM 1500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 RAM 1500 is presented as a truck with broad appeal, and the expert summary points to a model that combines a characterful V8 option with plenty of configuration choices. The performance notes also suggest a well-developed powertrain lineup, with the Hemi described as smooth in operation and the truck using an eight-speed automatic transmission across the range.

Ram also includes a useful maintenance perk language in the cost-effectiveness notes, with the brand saying it fixed the Hemi situation after bringing the engine back for 2026. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher-trim complexity and optional equipment can make condition and feature verification more important.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 RAM 1500?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Lower trims use simpler exterior and interior treatments, while higher trims add chrome, leather, open-pore wood, and more upscale cabin materials. The base Tradesman is especially basic, so check whether you want a more refined interior and exterior presentation.
• Powertrain: You can choose among a 3.6-litre V6, a 3.0-litre Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six, a high-output Hurricane inline-six in select versions, and the 5.7-litre Hemi V8. The Hemi brings character, but the turbocharged sixes deliver more power and better efficiency.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with trailer coverage, and rear cross traffic alert. Evasive Steer Assist, Intersection Collision Warning and traffic sign recognition are standard on Tungsten and can be added to some other models via option packages.
• Infotainment: Uconnect 5 comes standard, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Screen setups vary, with base Tradesman models getting a small 3.5-inch driver display, while higher trims can add larger digital displays, a passenger screen, and a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbocharged inline-six delivers superior fuel economy by 1.6 L/100 km compared with the Hemi V8.

Which 2026 RAM 1500 trim should I buy?

The 2026 RAM 1500 is offered in 12 trim levels: Tradesman, Express, Warlock, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, RHO, Limited, Longhorn, Tungsten, and the Hemi V8-equipped versions referenced in the test-drive data.

Here's the short version:

• Tradesman: This is the most basic choice, with cloth seats, lots of plastic trim, a six-speaker audio system, and the small 3.5-inch driver display. It makes sense if you want the lowest entry point, but it is the least upscale version.
• Express: This trim keeps the blacked-out look and standard six-speaker setup, so it suits you if you want a simpler appearance without moving far up the price ladder.
• Warlock: Like the other lower-end trims, it keeps the blacked-out grille treatment and standard audio setup, making it a style-led step up from the base truck.
• Big Horn: This is the best-value trim in the lineup because it adds more visual polish and a stronger sense of everyday comfort without jumping into luxury pricing. It also pairs well with the available nine-speaker audio system.
• Laramie: You get leather, a smarter cabin, and access to the Harman Kardon 19-speaker audio package, so this is a strong pick if you want a more premium-feeling truck.
• Rebel: This trim is one of the off-road-oriented choices and can be paired with the Harman Kardon audio package, making it a good fit if you want rugged character with more equipment.
• RHO: This is another off-road model with its own black grille treatment, so it suits buyers who want that tougher visual identity.
• Limited: You get open-pore wood trim and standard Harman Kardon audio, which makes this a strong luxury-leaning choice.
• Longhorn: Like the Limited, it brings open-pore wood trim and standard Harman Kardon audio, but with its own upscale personality.
• Tungsten: This is the most luxurious trim, with high-end leather surfaces, a unique grille mesh pattern, standard advanced safety additions, and the 23-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system.

The safety package note to keep in mind is that advanced safety features are not standard across the lineup, so you should verify equipment carefully on lower trims.

Is the 2026 RAM 1500 safe?

The 2026 RAM 1500 earns a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA for the Quad Cab, while the Crew Cab loses a star even though its frontal, side and rollover scores match the smaller cab’s ratings.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with trailer coverage, and rear cross traffic alert. Ram’s hands-free Active Driving Assist is included with the Advanced Safety Group II package, but it requires driver attention, works only on certain roads, and may require a paid subscription after a trial period on some trims.

A key caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should confirm exactly which driver-assistance items are fitted on the used truck you’re considering.
