New & Used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA for Sale near Erinsville, ON

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA a good car?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA earns an 8.5/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Form and function, and Technology.

Mercedes positions this compact fastback as an entry-level electric luxury car, and that framing fits the data: you get a quiet cabin, premium interior materials, and a strong technology package in a smaller, more approachable package than Mercedes’ larger electric sedans. The trade-off is that the base powertrain is described as underwhelming, and the design may not be for everyone.

Cons: the base powertrain is not the quickest option, the styling may be polarising, and advanced safety features are not standard.

For shoppers who want a comfortable, easy-to-live-with compact luxury EV with a focus on range and tech, it looks like a compelling choice. 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA reliable?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA is presented as a comfortable, easy-to-live-with compact luxury EV, and the expert assessment points to a smooth, quiet driving experience rather than a high-strung one. The powertrain is described as pleasant to drive, with a steel-sprung suspension that delivers a comfortable and confident ride, and the car’s charging and regenerative-braking systems are built around everyday usability.

Mercedes also says the CLA comes with a standard four-year/80,000 kilometre limited warranty and complimentary roadside assistance, which helps reduce early ownership worry.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is a new-generation model with limited real-world history, so you should be especially careful about software, charging, and electronics behaviour.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin design changes depending on equipment, with brushed aluminium trim, open-pore wood, or a cellulose-and-hemp-fibre trim mentioned. The passenger-screen setup also changes the interior look, and cars without it use a simpler trim piece instead. Base cars may miss some of the more upscale visual and convenience touches.
• Powertrain: The CLA is offered with a single-motor setup and a dual-motor AWD setup. The single-motor version is described as the less powerful choice, while the AWD version adds much stronger output. Both use an 85-kWh battery, a two-speed transmission, and an 800-volt charging system.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and a class-exclusive centre airbag. Active steering, lane change assist, automatic lane change, a 360-degree camera system, and parking assist may cost extra.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.25-inch driver display and a 14-inch centre display with the fourth-generation Mercedes MBUX system and MB.OS. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and OTA updates extend to driver-assistance systems. The MBUX Superscreen adds a 14-inch passenger display.
• Fuel efficiency: The single-motor version is rated at 673 kilometres on the WLTP cycle, while the AWD version is rated at 655 kilometres. Mercedes says the car can add over 300 kilometres of range in 10 minutes on DC fast charging and go from 10 to 80 percent in 22 minutes.

Which 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA is offered in 2 trim levels: CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4Matic.

Here's the short version:

• CLA 250+: This is the better-value choice if you want the CLA’s core appeal: strong range, a comfortable ride, and the full tech-forward cabin experience without paying for the more powerful AWD setup. It suits you best if you care more about efficiency and everyday luxury than outright acceleration.
• CLA 350 4Matic: Choose this if you want the stronger dual-motor setup and are willing to pay more for extra performance. It is the more expensive option, so it makes sense mainly if you want the added power and AWD traction.

The centre airbag comes standard on every CLA model, while some other driver-assistance features may be extra depending on trim and package.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA safe?

The CLA gets a class-exclusive centre airbag to protect the driver and passenger from knocking into each other in a side impact. It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Expected standard driver aids include adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, emergency braking, and traffic sign recognition. You may need to pay extra for active steering and lane change assist, as well as automatic lane change. A 360-degree camera system and parking assist system will also be available.

Should I buy a 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Mercedes’ latest CLA is positioned as an entry-level electric luxury car with a quiet cabin, premium materials, and a strong technology focus.

The bottom line: If you want the newest CLA direction and value the electric powertrain, range, and cabin tech, the 2026 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, it can still make sense to compare nearby years for a lower entry cost, especially if you can live without the newest tech-heavy setup.
