New & Used 2026 BMW X3 for Sale near Osage, SK

Is the 2026 BMW X3 a good car?

The 2026 BMW X3 earns an expert rating of 6.7/10. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

For you, the appeal is clear if you want a compact luxury crossover that still feels like a sport sedan while keeping SUV practicality. BMW’s own positioning gives you two flavours, and the base X3 30 xDrive is presented as good enough that you may prefer its savings over the M50’s extra speed and capability. For 2026, the base model also looks and feels a little more upscale inside.

The trade-offs are just as clear: the design may be polarising, the interior materials are described as feeling cheap, and the technology is quirky. Even so, the X3 is framed as fun to drive, comfortable, and good value for money, which broadens its appeal beyond brand loyalists.

With 36.3% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 BMW X3 reliable?

The 2026 BMW X3 is presented as a well-rounded compact luxury SUV, and BMW backs it with a four-year/80,000-kilometre warranty. The expert review also describes the powertrain as refined, smooth, and accurate, with the automatic engine stop/start system barely noticeable thanks to the mild hybrid setup.

BMW also includes a maintenance perk in the ownership picture: all three of these compact luxury SUVs include a four-year/80,000-kilometre warranty.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the X3’s technology and driver-assistance systems may require more patience than you’d expect from a premium SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 BMW X3?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base X3 30 xDrive is the value play, while the M50 adds a more aggressive look and feel, plus more expensive hardware and equipment. The base model gets upgraded for 2026 with standard artificial leather on the dashboard and door panels and improved interior trim, but the cabin still has an austere feel.
• Powertrain: The X3 30 xDrive uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 255 horsepower, while the M50 uses a turbocharged 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine with 393 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque. Both come standard with all-wheel drive, and the base model is described as surprisingly sprightly.
• Safety package: Standard features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and an active blind-spot monitor that can add steering to help prevent unsafe lane changes. The optional Driving Assistant Professional Package adds lane-centring assist, lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, and adaptive cruise control with hands-free traffic jam assist.
• Infotainment: The BMW Curved Display combines a 12.3-inch digital driver display with a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The system runs BMW Operating System 9 with QuickSelect, and available features include cloud-based navigation, Augmented View video, a BMW app store, in-vehicle gaming, and video streaming.
• Fuel efficiency: The official fuel economy rating is 8.6 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving, and the review’s test loop returned 9.8 L/100 km.

Which 2026 BMW X3 trim should I buy?

The 2026 BMW X3 is offered in 2 trim levels: 30 xDrive and M50.

Here's the short version:

• 30 xDrive: This is the trim to target if you want the best value. The review says it is good enough that you may prefer its savings over the M50’s extra speed and capability, and it still gets all-wheel drive plus a lively turbocharged 2.0-litre engine. If you want the X3’s core strengths without stretching your budget, this is the one to start with.
• M50: Choose this if you want the quickest, most powerful X3 and are willing to pay for it. It adds the turbocharged inline six, stronger performance hardware, and the most dramatic driving experience, but the review also says the cheap interior and firm ride are easier to forgive only if speed is your priority.

The safety package is broad, but some of the more advanced driver-assistance features are tied to the optional Driving Assistant Professional Package.
