New & Used 2026 Audi Q5 for Sale near South Porcupine, ON

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi Q5 earns 6.7/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Technology, and Safety.

It’s a competent compact luxury SUV that still delivers a refined ride and confident performance, and its infotainment is intuitive to use. That said, the Q5 no longer feels like the benchmark it once was, and the cabin is held back by cheap interior materials and ergonomic issues. With a test vehicle asking more than $70,000 CAD, the high price is hard to ignore when the overall impression is competent rather than compelling.

The current market shows 29.7% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is presented as a polished daily driver with rock-solid stability, a hushed cabin, and a comfortable ride. Its turbocharged 2.0-litre engine is described as keeping turbo lag and vibration to an absolute minimum, which supports a smooth, low-stress driving experience.

Audi’s standard all-wheel drive and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic are part of the package, and the Q5’s technology and safety equipment are broadly well covered. The cost side is less reassuring, though, because the Q5’s high price and scaled-back interior quality make it harder to justify over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying premium money for a vehicle whose cabin quality and value proposition may not age as gracefully as its mechanical polish.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim lacks the passenger display found on Technik models, and the lower trims also leave that area as blank shiny black plastic. The Technik trim adds the third screen and is the most feature-rich version.
• Powertrain: Every Q5 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with standard quattro all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The engine is smooth and muted, but there can be delay from a stop and some lurching at parking lot speeds.
• Safety package: The standard suite includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert and braking, and evasive steering assist. A centre frontal airbag and rear side airbags are also standard.
• Infotainment: You get a 14.5-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster standard, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Technik trims add a third 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen, and Audi uses Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q5 is rated at 11.0 L/100 km in the city, 8.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 9.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Progressiv, Technik, and Q5 Sportback.

Here's the short version:

• Progressiv: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Q5 experience with the standard infotainment, powertrain, and safety equipment. It makes sense if you want the Q5’s driving polish without paying for the extra screen-heavy cabin upgrades.
• Technik: This is the best-value trim if you want the most complete version of the Q5. It adds the passenger-side touchscreen and the most upscale tech presentation, which helps offset some of the cabin’s shortcomings.
• Q5 Sportback: Choose this if you want the sleeker body style rather than the regular SUV shape. It is priced above the standard Progressiv and is aimed more at style than added practicality.

The standard safety package is strong across the range, with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert and braking, and evasive steering assist included.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard driver-assistance suite includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert and braking, and evasive steering assist. A centre frontal airbag and rear side airbags are also standard, which are uncommon features.

Should I buy a 2026 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• It delivers a refined ride, confident performance, and intuitive infotainment.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It brought a modern redesign with easy-to-use technology and standard all-wheel drive.

The bottom line: If you want the latest Q5 with strong tech and a polished driving feel, the 2026 is the cleaner choice. If you’re shopping on value, the 2025 is worth a look because it brings many of the same core strengths and may be easier to justify on price.
