New & Used 2026 Audi Q5 for Sale nearSaint-Jacques, NB

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi Q5 earns 6.67/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Technology, and Safety.

It is a luxury compact SUV that prioritizes refinement, practicality, and standard all-wheel drive over rugged ambition. You get a premium-feeling cabin, a spacious interior, and a large trunk, plus standard quattro AWD for confident all-weather use. It is also well equipped even in base form, which supports its upmarket positioning.

The trade-offs are clear: the Q5 is not especially adventurous-looking, and it is not as fun to drive as some rivals. It is also priced like a premium product, so value is not its strongest suit. Even so, the Q5 remains appealing if you want a polished, practical luxury SUV with strong standard equipment.

38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is presented as a polished, well-rounded luxury SUV with standard quattro AWD, a muted turbocharged engine, and a comfortable ride. Its performance notes point to minimal turbo lag and vibration, which suggests a drivetrain that should feel composed in everyday use.

Audi also includes a strong standard equipment set, and the Q5’s fuel economy is competitive for the class. That said, the model’s premium pricing and the criticism of its interior materials mean you should pay close attention to condition and maintenance history when shopping used.

For long-term ownership, the main risk for used buyers is that a premium vehicle with a complex drivetrain and high-end electronics can become expensive if prior care has been inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim is missing the passenger display that appears on the Technik, and the higher trims add more of the Q5’s high-tech feel. You should compare equipment carefully because the cabin presentation changes meaningfully as you move up the range.
• Powertrain: Every Q5 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and standard quattro AWD. The engine is described as smooth and muted, but the transmission can feel delayed from a stop and a bit lurchy at parking-lot speeds.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert and braking, evasive steering assist, a centre frontal airbag, and rear side airbags. Those uncommon airbags are worth noting when comparing trims.
• Infotainment: A 14.5-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster are standard, while Technik trims add a 10.9-inch passenger display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, and Audi uses Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada-rated fuel economy is 11.0 L/100 km in the city, 8.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 9.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Progressiv, Technik, and base trim.

Here's the short version:

• base trim: This is the entry point if you want the Q5’s standard quattro AWD, strong safety equipment, and core infotainment without stretching the budget. It gives you the essentials, but it does not deliver the full high-tech cabin experience.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds equipment without pushing you all the way to the top price. If you want a more complete luxury feel while keeping spending in check, this is the one to target.
• Technik: Choose this if you want the most advanced cabin presentation, including the passenger display and the fullest tech experience. It is the trim that best showcases the Q5’s screen-heavy interior.

The standard safety package is strong across the range, with uncommon centre frontal and rear side airbags included.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assistance features include automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert and braking, and evasive steering assist. A centre frontal airbag and rear side airbags are also standard, which is uncommon in this class.

Should I buy a 2026 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• You want a refined, practical luxury SUV with strong standard equipment and a polished road feel.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It offers a fresh redesign with updated design language and tech.

The bottom line: If you want the newer Q5 with its standard equipment, strong safety story, and upscale daily-driving character, the 2026 is the better target. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 may be worth a look because it brings the redesign benefits while potentially opening up more value in the used market.
