New & Used 2026 Audi Q5 for Sale nearDolbeau-Mistassini, QC

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi Q5 earns 6.7/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Technology, and Safety.

It comes across as a competent compact luxury SUV that still meets expectations, especially if you want a polished daily driver with intuitive infotainment, a refined ride, confident performance, and a good amount of standard equipment. At the same time, our test notes point to cheap interior materials, ergonomic issues, and a high price that is hard to ignore when the overall impression is competent rather than compelling.

Good and great deals percentage: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is presented as a polished, well-rounded SUV with strong driving manners and a competitive fuel-economy profile for the class. Its turbocharged 2.0-litre engine is described as smooth, with turbo lag and vibration kept to an absolute minimum, and the cabin is hushed and stable on the road.

Audi also includes a broad set of standard safety and driver-assistance features, and the Q5’s equipment list suggests a vehicle built to feel substantial and well covered. The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that the Q5’s premium pricing and interior compromises may make it harder to justify if you want durability and value to go hand in hand.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim lacks the passenger-side screen found on Technik models, while the higher trims add more visual and tech appeal. The cabin’s material quality and ergonomic layout are worth checking closely, especially if you value a premium feel.
• Powertrain: Every Q5 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with quattro all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The engine is smooth and muted, but the transmission can feel delayed from a stop and a bit lurchy at parking-lot speeds.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert and braking, evasive steering assist, a centre frontal airbag, and rear side airbags. The standard safety suite is strong across the range.
• Infotainment: A 14.5-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster come standard, with a third 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen on Technik trims. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, and Audi uses Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q5 is rated at 11.0 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 8.1 on the highway, and 9.7 combined.

Which 2026 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it already gives you the core Q5 experience, including the standard infotainment setup, strong safety equipment, and the same 268-horsepower powertrain. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model and can live without the extra cabin flair of the higher trims.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value choice for most buyers because it sits between the base trim and the top model while keeping the Q5’s main strengths intact. It should suit you if you want a more upscale feel without stretching all the way to the most expensive version.
• Technik: This is the most feature-rich trim, adding the passenger-side touchscreen and the most advanced presentation. It suits you if you want the fullest tech experience and are willing to pay for it.

The standard safety package is strong across the range, with the same core driver-assistance features included.

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 safe?

The 2026 Audi Q5 received a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA on the identical 2025 model, with five-star ratings in all crash tests except rollover resistance, where it earned a four-star rating. The Q5 also earned the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert and braking, evasive steering assist, a centre frontal airbag, and rear side airbags. Those airbags are notable because they are uncommon features in this class.

Should I buy a 2026 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• It delivers strong performance, technology, and safety scores while keeping the Q5’s polished road manners.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It brought the Q5’s redesign and a more modern feel.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version with strong expert scores and a decent share of good deals, the 2026 is the cleaner pick. If you’re mainly focused on value and want the redesign benefits at a potentially lower price, the 2025 is worth a look.
