New & Used 2026 Audi Q5 for Sale nearCampbell River, BC

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi Q5 earns a 6.7/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Technology, and Safety.

It is a strong fit if you want a luxury compact SUV that prioritises refinement, practicality, and standard all-wheel drive over rugged ambition. The Q5’s appeal comes from its premium feel, spacious interior, large trunk, and well-equipped base trim, while the standard quattro system gives it the secure, all-weather character many buyers want in this class.

The trade-offs are clear: it is not especially adventurous-looking, and it is not as fun to drive as some rivals. It is also positioned as a premium product, so pricing is not low. Even so, 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is presented as a polished, confidence-inspiring luxury SUV with rock-solid stability, a hushed cabin, and a comfortable ride. Its turbocharged 2.0-litre engine is described as muted, with turbo lag and vibration kept to a minimum, and the standard quattro all-wheel drive and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission give it a technically sophisticated drivetrain.

For ownership, the main reliability question is less about outright mechanical weakness and more about whether you are comfortable with a premium SUV that leans heavily on complex technology and expensive packaging. For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is best viewed as moderate because the Q5’s appeal depends on features and systems that can be costly to maintain if they age poorly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim lacks a screen on the lower dash area, while the Progressiv and Technik add more of the high-end presentation you may expect. The Technik also brings the passenger display, which adds tech appeal but can be reflective and smudgy.
• Powertrain: Every Q5 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and standard quattro all-wheel drive. It is efficient for the class, but the transmission can feel delayed from a stop and a bit lurchy at parking-lot speeds.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert and braking, and evasive steering assist. A centre frontal airbag and rear side airbags are also standard.
• Infotainment: A 14.5-inch touchscreen and 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster come standard. The Technik adds a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported along with Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada-rated fuel economy is 11.0 L/100 km in the city, 8.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 9.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it already gives you the core Q5 formula: standard quattro all-wheel drive, the 2.0-litre turbo engine, and a strong list of standard safety and tech features. It makes sense if you want the Q5 experience without stretching for extras.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it sits in the middle of the range and should give you the most balanced mix of equipment and price. If you want a more complete luxury feel without going all the way to the top trim, this is the one to focus on.
• Technik: This is the most feature-rich version, adding the passenger display and the most upscale tech presentation. Choose it if you want the fullest Q5 experience and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package is strong across the range, with standard driver-assistance features and uncommon airbags included.

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 safe?

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert and braking, and evasive steering assist. A centre frontal airbag and rear side airbags are also standard, which is uncommon in this class.

Should I buy a 2026 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• It delivers polished road manners, strong standard equipment, and a genuinely upscale interior.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It introduced Audi’s current design language and tech suite.

The bottom line: If you want the most current Q5 with strong standard equipment and a refined driving character, the 2026 is the cleaner choice. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look because it brought the redesign and still covers the basics well.
