Used 2025 Toyota Tundra for Sale nearElmira, ON

How much does the 2025 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have softened 13.35% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 298 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Toyota Tundra earns 4/5 from users and 6.67/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It stands out as a tech-forward full-size pickup with a distinctive design, an available hybrid powertrain, and a cabin that prioritises modern features. The trade-offs are clear: lower max tow ratings than some rivals and the lack of front recovery hooks.

The seats are also described as uncomfortable, and poor fuel economy remains a drawback.

With 35.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive example.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Toyota says the engine issue that affected 2022 to 2024 models has been fixed, and the current truck’s predictive reliability is described as trending upward. That matters because the 2025 model keeps the twin-turbo V6 formula while adding more tech and capability-focused equipment.

The powertrain’s recent recall history means you should still verify service records carefully, but the current model year looks better positioned for used buyers than the early third-generation trucks.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Tundra?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TRD Rally Package adds rally-inspired styling, 18-inch TRD off-road wheels, all-terrain tyres, Bilstein shocks, skid plates, and extra interior touches. It also brings useful hardware such as an electronically controlled locking rear differential, Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and Downhill Assist Control.
• Powertrain: You get a twin-turbo 3.4-litre V6 i-Force engine, with an available i-Force Max hybrid powertrain. The standard engine is described as strong in everyday driving, and the hybrid adds more output.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard and includes pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, automated lane centring, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available with packages and on higher trims.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The TRD Rally Package upgrades to a 14-inch screen, and the system supports over-the-air-style connected features through subscription-based services.
• Fuel efficiency: The best fuel economy cited is 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving.

Which 2025 Toyota Tundra trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Tundra is offered in 1 trim level: SR.

Here's the short version:

The SR is the one to focus on if you want the entry point to the Tundra lineup with the core tech and safety equipment already included. It still gives you wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, and the standard twin-turbo V6, so you are not starting from a stripped-down truck.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Tundra?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price movement to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 298 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $60,242 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $60,242 CAD sits slightly below last year's $69,520 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may face more competition if the market stays loose. The current year-round range suggests there is still room for values to move around depending on trim, equipment, and condition.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tundra safe?

The 2025 Toyota Tundra earns a Top Safety Pick+ from the IIHS and a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, with additional five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard on all trim levels and includes pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, automated lane centring, and automatic high beams. Eight airbags, LATCH on outboard second-row seats, child-protector rear door locks, tyre pressure monitoring, and front active headrests are also standard.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available with packages and on higher trims.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds new tech features and the retro TRD Rally Package, while Toyota says the engine issue affecting earlier third-generation trucks has been fixed.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $55,543 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $60,242 CAD average.
• It offers strong personality and a reliability-focused appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the newer truck with more tech and a better price trend, the 2025 is the stronger all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you find one in good condition and the equipment suits your needs.
