Used 2025 Toyota Tundra for Sale nearChicoutimi, QC

How much does the 2025 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have softened 14.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 323 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Toyota Tundra earns 4/5 from owners and 6.7/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It blends tech, style, and capability in a way that helps it stand out in the full-size pickup segment, and its tech-forward interior is a major part of the appeal. The available hybrid powertrain broadens its range of strengths, while the spacious back seat and useful storage make it practical for everyday use and work duties.

The trade-offs are clear: the seats are uncomfortable, fuel economy is poor, and it lacks front recovery hooks. That makes it a better fit if you want a modern, feature-rich pickup and can live with some compromises.

34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Toyota says it has fixed the engine issue that affected 2022 to 2024 models, and the current truck’s predictive reliability for the powertrain is described as trending upward. The twin-turbo V6 is presented as the standard engine, and the truck’s overall positioning leans on Toyota’s reputation for dependability.

The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps lower early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure you’re getting a truck that has been properly maintained and is free of unresolved recall-related concerns.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Tundra?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TRD Rally Package adds rally-inspired styling, 18-inch TRD off-road wheels, all-terrain tyres, Bilstein shocks, skid plates, and extra interior touches, while the base SR is described as having more plastic trim that may feel less upscale but should be durable for truck use.
• Powertrain: You get a twin-turbo 3.4-litre V6, with an available hybrid powertrain for more output. The truck is described as having strong get-up-and-go for merging and passing, and the powertrain is said to be on an upward reliability trend.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard on all trim levels and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, automated lane centring, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available with packages and on higher trims.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The TRD Rally Package brings a 14-inch screen, and the system is described as generally good but occasionally glitchy when pairing a phone.
• Fuel efficiency: The best fuel economy cited is 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving, and the truck is also described as having poor fuel economy overall.

Which 2025 Toyota Tundra trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Tundra is offered in 1 trim level: SR.

Here's the short version:

The SR is the one to focus on if you want the Tundra’s core strengths without chasing expensive extras. It still gives you wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, and the truck’s practical cabin space, so it covers the essentials well.

If you want the more distinctive look and extra hardware, the TRD Rally Package adds off-road-flavoured equipment and a larger screen, but the base SR is the value play for most shoppers.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard on all trim levels, so you do not need to move up just to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Tundra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 323 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.90% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $60,239 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $60,275 CAD sits slightly below last year's $70,829 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if prices continue to ease. If demand stays steady, the Tundra’s broad appeal as a tech-forward full-size pickup should help support used values. Strong equipment and a reputation for dependability can also make it easier to attract shoppers later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tundra safe?

The 2025 Toyota Tundra is the only full-size truck to win a Top Safety Pick+ award from the IIHS, and it earns a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, with additional five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard on all trim levels and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, automated lane centring, and automatic high beams. Eight airbags, LATCH on outboard second-row seats, child-protector rear door locks, tyre pressure monitoring, and front active headrests are also standard.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available with packages and on higher trims. The main caveat is that some of the more useful driver-assistance features are not standard on every version.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds new tech features, including an available massaging seat in upper trims and a retro TRD Rally Package.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $54,995 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $60,275 CAD average.
• It stands out for its powerful i-Force Max drivetrain.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newer tech, stronger safety story, and a broader sense of refinement. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the better value-oriented path.
