Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 329 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.48% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $44,461 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $44,461 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,119 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market holds up from here. If prices stabilise, today’s lower entry point could support a more manageable ownership cost over time. If demand stays strong, the model’s practical packaging and hybrid appeal should help it remain attractive to used shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, efficiency, and buyer confidence, the 2025 is the one to focus on. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point, but the 2025’s softened pricing and solid market support make it the cleaner primary choice.
