The current average of $44,613 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,372 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer now but may temper what a future seller can ask in the short term. Even so, the model’s established reputation and broad appeal should help it remain easy to market when you decide to sell. Strong demand for efficient, practical compact SUVs can support values over time, especially when the vehicle is well kept.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 24.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this range with strong efficiency, standard safety tech, and a proven reputation, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry price while still delivering much of the same everyday usefulness.
