Used 2025 Subaru Crosstrek for Sale nearGrand Falls-Windsor, NL

How much does the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 4.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 636 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

The 2025 Subaru Crosstrek stands out because it keeps the formula that made the nameplate appealing in the first place: a simple, practical crossover with standard all-wheel drive, generous ground clearance, and protective bodywork. It is built around a four-cylinder boxer engine and a continuously variable transmission, and Subaru’s symmetrical AWD system remains part of the package. That combination gives the Crosstrek a rugged character without turning it into a complicated vehicle, which is a big part of its appeal for buyers who want something budget-friendly and useful every day.

For 2025, the Crosstrek’s strengths are not just about capability. The lineup includes Convenience, Touring, Onyx, and Limited trims, and the redesign brought a next-generation 11.6-inch Subaru Starlink touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on all but the Convenience trim. Subaru also added a standard wireless smartphone charger and a power driver’s seat for the upper trim levels, while the safety suite gained a next-generation EyeSight package with wider-view cameras. On trims with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, Automatic Emergency Steering can help prevent collisions at speeds below 80 km/h.

There are trade-offs, though. The Crosstrek’s base 2.0-litre engine makes 152 horsepower, while the larger 2.5-litre unit in the Onyx, Limited, and Wilderness produces 182 hp, so the model’s performance depends heavily on trim choice. The CVT is standard, and a manual transmission is no longer available. Even so, the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek remains appealing because it blends everyday practicality, strong winter confidence, and a straightforward mechanical layout in a small crossover that is easy to live with.

With 28.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

The 2025 Subaru Crosstrek stands out because it keeps the formula that made the nameplate appealing in the first place: a simple, practical crossover with standard all-wheel drive, generous ground clearance, and protective bodywork. It is built around a four-cylinder boxer engine and a continuously variable transmission, and Subaru’s symmetrical AWD system remains part of the package. That combination gives the Crosstrek a rugged character without turning it into a complicated vehicle, which is a big part of its appeal for buyers who want something budget-friendly and useful every day.

For used buyers, that straightforward layout can help keep long-term ownership risk more manageable than with a more complex crossover, especially if you value predictable everyday use over performance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Crosstrek?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you focus on value.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 636 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,703 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $34,063 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,577 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become a bit easier to buy than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that can mean less upside if the market stays soft. On the other hand, if you buy near the lower end of the current range, you may reduce how much value you need to recover later.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.26% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $30,215 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $34,063 CAD average.
• It offers standard AWD and broad capability.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and are shopping for a well-equipped small crossover with strong everyday usefulness. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you want standard all-wheel drive without stretching to the current average price.
