Is the 2025 Porsche Macan a good car?

The 2025 Porsche Macan stands out because it blends Porsche’s sports-car character with compact-SUV practicality in a way that still feels distinctive. It is a five-seater with all-wheel drive and a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission, and its coupe-like shape gives it a sleek look even if that comes at the expense of interior space.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a luxury SUV that feels genuinely engaging to drive and still delivers a high-quality cabin. Its appeal is strongest for you if driving enjoyment matters more than maximum room or outright practicality.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 218 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.70% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $88,414 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $88,414 CAD sits slightly below last year's $92,771 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you're buying now, but it also means future resale may be shaped by a market that has already adjusted downward. If you plan to sell later, a well-kept example with desirable equipment should hold up better than one that is priced too close to the top of the range today.

Should I buy a 2025 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.70% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the latest version of this formula and you value the Macan’s sporty character, premium feel, and strong driving appeal. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a similar ownership experience for less money, especially if you can find one with the right equipment and condition.
