How much does the 2025 Porsche Cayenne cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 121 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Porsche Cayenne a good car?

The 2025 Porsche Cayenne earns an 8.00/10 expert rating, and it is aimed at you if you want a high-end midsize SUV that blends luxury with driving enjoyment.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The Cayenne’s appeal is in its polished cabin, premium materials, standard all-wheel drive, and agile driving character. It is especially compelling if you value a premium feel and strong road manners, but you should be ready for a higher-cost ownership experience.

Trade-offs: advanced safety features are not standard, and options can quickly increase the price.

Market signal: 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Porsche Cayenne reliable?

The 2025 Porsche Cayenne is presented as a well-built, premium SUV with a four-year or 80,000-kilometre limited powertrain warranty, which helps frame ownership expectations for a used buyer.

The expert assessment also points to a robust V8-powered character and a chassis tuned for spirited driving, while noting that the model is expensive with few standard features. The performance content suggests a vehicle engineered for strong road manners rather than low-cost simplicity, and the cost-effectiveness content reinforces that ownership can be pricey.

If you plan to keep one long term, the main risk is that maintenance and options can make ownership costs climb quickly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Porsche Cayenne?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from the base Cayenne to the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, and the GTS trim adds high-gloss black trim, a specific front fascia with larger air intakes, tinted headlights, red brake calipers, and 21-inch anthracite grey wheels. The base model is described as having smaller wheels and satin black trim, so you should check whether the features you want are standard or reserved for higher trims.
• Powertrain: You can find a base 3.0-litre V6 with 348 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque, a Cayenne S with a V8 making 468 hp, a GTS with a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 making 493 hp, and plug-in hybrid options with as much as 729 hp. The Cayenne is tuned to hustle over back roads, and the GTS is described as the sweet spot between sporty and extreme.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes parking sensors, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and lane-departure warning cost extra, and Porsche’s InnoDrive system is available as an advanced adaptive cruise control setup.
• Infotainment: The cabin includes a standard 12.6-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 10.9-inch passenger screen is optional, and the system also includes Spotify, Apple Music, satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a cooled wireless charging area.
• Fuel efficiency: Porsche and Natural Resources Canada have not released fuel economy numbers for 2025. The previous V8 was rated at 15.3 L/100 km in the city, 11.2 on the highway, and 13.5 combined, and the trip computer showed just under 15 L/100 km after mixed driving.

Which 2025 Porsche Cayenne trim should I buy?

The 2025 Porsche Cayenne is offered in 6 trim levels: Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne GTS, Cayenne Turbo GT, Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, and Cayenne GTS Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• Cayenne: This is the entry point, but it still gets the Cayenne’s core appeal: strong driving dynamics, standard all-wheel drive, and a premium cabin. It is the trim to consider if you want the Porsche experience without chasing the highest outputs or the highest price.
• Cayenne S: This trim steps up to a V8 and is the better choice if you want more performance without going all the way to the most extreme versions. It suits you if you want a stronger engine and still want a more balanced daily-driver feel.
• Cayenne GTS: This is the best-value pick if you want the sharpest blend of performance and everyday usability. It adds a twin-turbo V8, more aggressive exterior details, and the most focused driving character in the lineup without moving into the most expensive territory.
• Cayenne Turbo GT: This is the one for maximum performance, but it is only available as a coupe. It is the right fit if outright speed matters more than value or practicality.
• Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid: This is the top-end choice for buyers who want the most power and are comfortable paying for it. It is the most extreme option in the standard body style lineup.
• Cayenne GTS Coupe: Choose this if you want the GTS formula with the coupe body style and its more dramatic look. It keeps the GTS’s performance focus while adding the coupe’s styling and available lightweight package.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so check carefully for the driver-assistance equipment you want on any trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Porsche Cayenne?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 121 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $124,707 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $131,086 CAD sits slightly above last year's $130,921 CAD.

That small increase suggests the Cayenne’s used-market pricing has remained stable rather than swinging sharply. For a future seller, that can be a positive sign because it points to predictable demand and less volatility. It also means your resale outcome will likely depend more on trim, condition, and equipment than on a broad market shift.

Is the 2025 Porsche Cayenne safe?

The 2025 Porsche Cayenne does not have crash-test ratings from either IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes parking sensors, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and lane-departure warning are not standard, and Porsche’s InnoDrive system is available as an advanced adaptive cruise control feature. If you want a hands-off or eyes-up driving assist, this is not the SUV for you.

Should I buy a 2025 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• The 2025 stands out for its agile driving experience, premium materials, and strong performance focus.

The bottom line: If you want the Cayenne at its current market level, the 2025 is a strong choice because pricing has been stable and the model’s core strengths are intact. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2025 remains the better fit if you care most about the Cayenne’s driving character and premium feel.
