How much does the 2025 Nissan Armada cost?

Is the 2025 Nissan Armada a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

The 2025 Armada arrives with a total makeover and a new powertrain, and Nissan has broadened the lineup with Platinum Reserve and PRO-4X. That gives you more choice whether you want a more upscale full-size SUV or one with a more adventurous edge. The trade-offs are that it is less spacious than some key competitors, and the hands-free driving system can be finicky.

With 38.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market offers a decent number of attractive opportunities.

Is the 2025 Nissan Armada reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Armada is presented as a thoroughly updated full-size SUV with a new generation design and powertrain, which is a good sign for buyers who want a fresh platform rather than an ageing carryover. Its standard 4WD setup, broad safety equipment, and modern cabin technology also point to a vehicle built to handle daily use with confidence.

The new powertrain and updated systems should make it a solid used buy if you want something current, but as with any newer redesign, you should pay close attention to early ownership history and how the advanced driver-assistance features have been used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Armada?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SL is the base model in Canada, while Platinum Reserve sits at the top of the range. The SL gets 12.3-inch displays and a surround-view camera, while higher trims add 14.3-inch screens, Nissan’s 3D Around View Monitor, Invisible Hood View, Front Wide View, and a more upscale cabin. The PRO-4X adds a more rugged look and adventure-focused hardware, while Platinum Reserve leans into luxury.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Armada uses a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 with 425 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Nissan’s Intelligent Four-Wheel Drive is standard in Canada, and the PRO-4X adds electronic locking rear differential, metal underbody skid plates, and adaptive electronic air suspension.
• Safety package: ProPILOT Assist is standard, with ProPILOT Assist 1.1 on the SL, Platinum, and PRO-4X, and ProPILOT Assist 2.1 on Platinum Reserve. Standard features include adaptive cruise control with active lane-centring steering assistance, traffic-sign recognition, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, lane-departure warning and prevention, and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: Every Armada gets two large screens, with 12.3-inch displays on the SL and 14.3-inch displays on higher trims. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with Google Built-In, six USB-C ports, and a wireless charging pad.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada combined fuel economy ratings come in at 13.7 L/100 km on most trims, while the PRO-4X is rated at 14.4 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Armada trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Armada is offered in 4 trim levels: SL, Platinum, PRO-4X, Platinum Reserve.

Here's the short version:

• SL: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Armada experience with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 12.3-inch displays, a surround-view camera, and ProPILOT Assist 1.1. It is the trim to consider if you want the most accessible way into the new Armada without giving up the essentials.
• Platinum: This trim adds a more upscale feel and moves you to the larger 14.3-inch screens, plus the more advanced camera setup and additional convenience features. It makes sense if you want a better-equipped Armada without jumping all the way to the top.
• PRO-4X: This is the best fit if you want the Armada’s new off-road capability. It adds all-terrain tires, skid plates, an electronic locking rear differential, and the adventure-focused hardware that sets it apart from the rest of the range.
• Platinum Reserve: This is the luxury choice, with the most premium cabin presentation, adaptive electronic air suspension, a head-up display, and ProPILOT Assist 2.1. It is the one to buy if you want the most refined Armada and are willing to pay for it.

ProPILOT Assist 1.1 is standard on the SL, Platinum, and PRO-4X, while ProPILOT Assist 2.1 is reserved for the Platinum Reserve.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Armada?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have some leverage if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 78 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.99% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $78,415 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Armada's resale value?

The current average of $78,445 CAD sits slightly below last year's $92,273 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Armada has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying used and want to avoid the steepest early drop. For a future seller, it also means resale value will depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the vehicle is equipped relative to similar listings.

Because the market has softened, a well-kept Armada with desirable equipment may stand out more than before, especially if it is priced near the lower end of the current range. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Armada safe?

The 2025 Armada earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist suite is standard, with ProPILOT Assist 1.1 on the SL, Platinum, and PRO-4X, and ProPILOT Assist 2.1 on the Platinum Reserve. Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control with active lane-centring steering assistance, traffic-sign recognition, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, lane-departure warning and prevention, and rear cross-traffic alert.

The Platinum Reserve’s hands-free highway driving assist is the most advanced version, but it still requires regular driver attention. Lower trims do not get that enhanced system, so if that feature matters to you, you will need to shop higher in the range.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Armada or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 brings a total makeover, a new powertrain, and new trims including PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a NISMO version with a more performance-oriented character.

The bottom line: If you want the newest redesign and the strongest current value signal, the 2025 is the better starting point. If you are price-sensitive, the softer used market makes this model year especially worth a look, while the 2026 is the one to consider if you specifically want the added NISMO variant.

• Cons: Less spacious than some key competitors, Finicky hands-free driving system.

2025 Toyota Sequoia:

• Pros: Stylish design, Powerful engine, Easy-to-use technology.

Our experts score the 2025 Nissan Armada 7.8/10 and the 2025 Toyota Sequoia 5.5/10. The Armada looks like the stronger value if you want a newer-feeling full-size SUV with standard wireless smartphone integration and an available off-road-focused trim. The Sequoia counters with a more powerful hybrid engine, but its weaker fuel economy and tighter packaging make it less appealing for many shoppers. If you care most about price, the Armada also has the lower average used price and more listings to choose from.
