How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA cost?

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA a good car?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA stands out as a compact luxury car that leans heavily into style, technology and performance. It is described as all-new in its second generation, and it brings Mercedes-Benz’s latest tech and powertrains while adding a bit more practicality with extra length and cargo space.

That mix makes it appealing if you want a premium small car with a strong feature list and a wide range of powertrain choices. All-wheel drive is standard in Canada, and the car comes well equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, leatherette upholstery and LED headlights.

With 41.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you a decent chance to find a competitive example.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA reliable?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA is presented as a stylish, well-equipped compact luxury car, but Mercedes-Benz’s recent reliability record has not been especially strong. That means the car’s appeal is more about design, technology and available performance than long-term durability confidence.

For used buyers, that can translate into a higher ownership-risk profile over time, so a careful inspection and service-history review matter more than usual.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

This looks like a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping the 2025 CLA, because pricing has moved down sharply and there’s enough inventory to compare options.

• Deal availability: 41.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 272 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,286 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA's resale value?

The current average of $39,286 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,588 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may be under pressure if the model continues to depreciate at this pace. If you plan to keep the car for a while, buying closer to the lower end of the range gives you more cushion later.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.69% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It shifts to an electric powertrain with a stronger technology focus.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better fit if you want the current gasoline CLA with a broad feature set and a softer used-market price. If you’re more interested in the next-generation direction of the nameplate and can wait for an EV-focused model, the 2026 is the alternative to watch. For most used buyers, though, the 2025 offers the more straightforward path; price-sensitive shoppers should focus on well-priced listings near the lower end of the range.
