Used 2025 Jeep Wrangler for Sale nearNewmarket, ON

How much does the 2025 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 11.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 730 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Jeep Wrangler earns a 4/5 user rating and a 5.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Performance and Technology.

It is built around iconic looks and legendary off-road ability, and it remains especially appealing if off-road capability matters more than on-road polish. The trade-offs are clear: it can be noisy and ride poorly, and it feels somewhat out of step with the times.

Cons: Noisy, poor ride quality, and poor value for money.

The market shows 33.2% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Wrangler’s appeal comes from its rugged, adventure-first character, and the expert review reinforces that it is built to get dirty, wet, and full of mud and sand. Its standard four-wheel drive and durable, functional design support that reputation, while the available turbocharged four-cylinder is described as a fine powerplant aside from its nasal idle note and loud cooling fan.

If you plan to use it as a daily driver, the main long-term ownership risk is accepting a noisy, rough-riding vehicle that can feel compromised outside its intended use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Wrangler ranges from Sport to Rubicon X, and the base Sport is the one most likely to leave you wanting more equipment. The review also notes that the Wrangler’s character is rooted in function over form, with the removable top and doors remaining central to the experience.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 3.6-litre V6 and a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder. The four-cylinder is marginally more fuel-efficient and may feel livelier at higher elevations, while the V6 can be paired with a manual transmission.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on any Wrangler except the base Sport trim level. Forward collision warning with automatic braking requires the Sahara, and adaptive cruise control plus automatic high-beam headlights are also available.
• Infotainment: The Uconnect 5 system includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio preparation. Navigation and Jeep Connect connected services are available on more expensive models.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbocharged four-cylinder is rated at 11.0 L/100 km combined, or 11.3 L/100 km combined in the four-door model, versus 12.2 L/100 km combined for the V6.

Which 2025 Jeep Wrangler trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler is offered in 6 trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is also the trim most likely to feel stripped back if you want more convenience or safety equipment.
• Sport S: This is the best-value trim if you want a more usable daily setup, especially because it can add helpful safety features through the optional Safety Group.
• Willys: Choose this if you want a more characterful Wrangler without jumping all the way to the higher-priced trims.
• Sahara: This is the trim to target if you want forward collision warning with automatic braking as standard.
• Rubicon: Pick this if off-road capability is your priority and you want the Wrangler’s more serious trail-focused character.
• Rubicon X: This is the most premium gas trim mentioned here, so it suits you if you want the most fully equipped Wrangler experience.

The safety-package note to keep in mind is that blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are not available on the base Sport trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler?

This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 730 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,676 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $52,720 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,720 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future sellers may face a market that is less aggressive than it was a year ago. If prices remain closer to the current average, resale values should stay more stable than they would in a rising market. The Wrangler’s strong identity and broad appeal among buyers who want capability and character should continue to support demand.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler safe?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler earns a four-star frontal-impact rating and a three-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety rates it Good for side-impact protection and Good in the updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test, but Marginal in the small overlap frontal-impact test.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The Wrangler’s safety story is mixed. Side curtain airbags are now standard for the front and rear seats, which is a meaningful improvement, but many advanced driver assistance systems remain optional. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on any Wrangler except the base Sport trim, while forward collision warning with automatic braking requires the Sahara. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and automatic high-beam headlights are also available.

The small overlap frontal-impact result is the main caveat to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the Wrangler’s iconic looks, removable top and doors, and legendary off-road ability.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,304 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $52,720 CAD average.
• It adds more modern tech and safety focus while keeping the Wrangler’s off-road-first appeal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds an enhanced hinge system that makes the doors easier to remove.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year Wrangler with softened pricing and strong inventory, the 2025 is the main path to consider. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
