Used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearScarborough, ON

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 10.30% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 198 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Style, technology, and utility make this a strong fit if you want a family-focused three-row SUV with a more upscale feel and lots of cargo space. The trade-offs are the unpleasant engine note and the cheap-feeling interior plastics.

Its 36.9% good-or-great deal share suggests there are still worthwhile listings to find.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Traverse is positioned as a spacious, technology-rich family SUV, and the expert assessment supports that with strong marks for safety and technology. The powertrain is described as making plenty of power, and the standard equipment list is broad.

Chevrolet also includes three years of access to Super Cruise when you choose the Enhanced Driving Package, which adds value to the ownership experience.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the same quality and usability frustrations noted in testing could still affect day-to-day satisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LT, Z71, and RS each bring different personalities, and the base setup can feel less polished than the higher-spec versions. The Z71 adds the most rugged hardware and is the off-road version, while the RS is the sportier-looking choice.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. It delivers strong acceleration, but the engine note is unpleasant and front-wheel-drive operation can bring wheel spin and torque steer.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat. The Enhanced Driving Package adds Super Cruise and remote-parking technology.
• Infotainment: The standard 17.7-inch touchscreen includes Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, OnStar connected services, Wi-Fi hotspot access, and SiriusXM 360L. An 11-inch digital instrument panel is also included.
• Fuel efficiency: The test vehicle was rated at 11.2 L/100 km in combined driving, and it averaged 10.9 L/100 km during testing.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Traverse trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Traverse is offered in 3 trim levels: LT, Z71, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the trim to focus on if you want the Traverse’s core strengths without paying for the more specialised hardware or styling of the higher trims. It should suit you best if you care most about space, technology, and value.
• Z71: This is the best choice if you want the most capability and the most distinctive character. It adds off-road suspension, all-terrain tyres, a skid plate, red tow hooks, a more capable Twin Clutch AWD system, Terrain mode, hill descent control, and improved ground clearance.
• RS: Choose this if you want the more style-forward version of the Traverse and prefer a more upscale appearance over rugged hardware.

The Z71 is the off-road version, and the standard safety package remains broad across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you should shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 198 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.30% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $51,200 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $51,200 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,081 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Traverse easier to buy now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that also means you may need to price competitively if you want to move the vehicle quickly.

The good news is that strong demand for well-equipped family SUVs can help support values, especially when the vehicle has broad appeal and strong safety equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse safe?

The 2025 Traverse earns a Top Safety Pick award from IIHS and a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevrolet Safety Assist is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat.

The Enhanced Driving Package adds Super Cruise and remote-parking technology, and it also brings the digital rearview mirror and a 10-speaker Bose premium sound system. Super Cruise is a standout hands-free driving aid, though it can still disengage in some situations and its Cruise Braking feature can be overly aggressive in curves.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds standard trailering equipment and available Super Cruise.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $48,780 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $51,200 CAD average.
• It brings a bolder redesign with more space and more standard driver aids.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $55,776 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $51,200 CAD average.
• It offers a spacious cabin, a pleasant ride, and lots of safety equipment.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the latest updates and strong safety tech. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer model year.
