Used 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe for Sale nearSaint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, QC

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe cost?

Prices have softened 8.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 84 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

The Tahoe’s freshened front and rear styling, new lighting signatures, and much nicer cabin give it a more modern feel, while the updated touchscreen is a major part of the appeal. It also stands out for its available diesel engine, which is described as delivering impressive fuel economy for a vehicle of this size along with excellent performance.

The trade-offs are worth keeping in mind: cargo space is tight with all rows in place, and the V8 engines are thirsty.

For you, that means the Tahoe makes the most sense if you want a full-size SUV with strong towing ability, a more upscale interior, and a tech-forward cabin rather than maximum cargo flexibility. The market shows 32.1% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Tahoe is described as a battle-tested SUV with a strong reputation for reliability, and the available diesel is presented as refined, smooth, and quiet. Chevrolet also pairs the lineup with a 10-speed automatic transmission that works fairly unobtrusively, which supports the impression of a well-sorted powertrain package.

The diesel’s improved output and strong efficiency make it especially appealing if you plan to rack up kilometres, and the model’s broad capability suggests it should suit long-term family use well. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is that a large, complex SUV can become expensive to run if you choose a thirsty V8 or need frequent repairs on higher-spec equipment.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LS is the no-frills starting point, while the LT, Z71, RST, Premier, and High Country add more equipment and character. The Z71 is aimed at off-road capability, and the RST leans into street-performance-focused styling. The base LS is the one most likely to feel stripped back compared with the higher trims.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 5.3-litre V8, a 6.2-litre V8, and a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder diesel. The diesel is the efficiency pick and is described as refined, smooth, and quiet, while the V8s deliver traditional Tahoe character but use more fuel.
• Safety package: Every Tahoe includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning, pedestrian and bicycle braking, automatic parking assist, a surround-view camera, and a teen driver monitoring system. GM’s Super Cruise is available, but not every 2025 example will have it.
• Infotainment: Look for the 17.7-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Google Built-in. The system also ties into an 11-inch driver information screen, with an available 15-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The diesel is the efficiency standout, with fuel consumption as low as 9.7 litres per 100 kilometres on the highway.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe is offered in 6 trim levels: LS, LT, Z71, RST, Premier, and High Country.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the value-focused starting point, and it already gets the big 17.7-inch touchscreen plus the standard ADAS suite. If you want the lowest entry price and can live without the extra luxury and lifestyle features, this is the trim to start with.
• LT: This is the logical step up if you want a better-equipped Tahoe without jumping too far up the price ladder. It’s also one of the trims that can be paired with the diesel, which makes it a strong choice if you want a more efficient full-size SUV.
• Z71: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking Tahoe with off-road intent. It adds full-length skid plates, front recovery hooks, all-terrain tyres, and a 2.5-centimetre lift, and it can also be fitted with the diesel.
• RST: This is the style-forward choice, with street-performance-focused styling. It can also be paired with the diesel, and it sits in a good middle ground if you want a more distinctive look.
• Premier: This is the upscale comfort pick for shoppers who want a more luxurious Tahoe without going all the way to the top trim. It can also be fitted with the diesel.
• High Country: This is the top-tier choice, and it comes standard with the 6.2-litre V8. Pick it if you want the most premium Tahoe experience and are comfortable paying for it.

The standard ADAS suite is included even on the LS, which makes the lower trims easier to recommend than you might expect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should have some room to shop around without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 84 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.61% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $86,899 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $86,899 CAD sits slightly below last year's $95,081 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Tahoe has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the used market, which can help future sellers by keeping the model accessible to a wider pool of shoppers. At the same time, the softer pricing means you may not see the same short-term appreciation that a tighter market can produce.

For resale, the Tahoe’s appeal should remain tied to its full-size capability, strong towing ability, and updated cabin. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should be positioned reasonably well when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe safe?

The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe has not been crash-tested by NHTSA, but the 2024 Tahoe earned four-star ratings overall from NHTSA. The 2024 Tahoe also received an Acceptable rating in the small overlap front test and a Poor rating in the moderate overlap front updated test from IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevrolet includes a strong standard driver-assistance package on every Tahoe: automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning, pedestrian and bicycle braking, automatic parking assist, a surround-view camera, and a teen driver monitoring system. GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving tech is available, though not every 2025 example will have it.

The main caveat is that the IIHS results were mixed, with a Poor result in one key front-impact test. That means you should value the standard safety tech, but you should also keep the crash-test history in mind when comparing it with rivals.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 brings a restyled front and rear, new lighting signatures, a much nicer interior, and a major touchscreen upgrade.

The bottom line: If you want the Tahoe with the biggest step forward in cabin quality and technology, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025’s updated interior and stronger diesel make it the more compelling choice for most shoppers.
