How much does the 2025 Buick Encore GX cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $30,141 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $30,141 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $35,855 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $35,804 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −15.82% |
Prices have softened 15.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 235 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.
Is the 2025 Buick Encore GX a good car?
The 2025 Buick Encore GX is a sensible choice if you want a subcompact crossover with a comfortable ride and an upscale feel for the segment. It also brings practical everyday appeal, with a decent powertrain and a design that helps it stand out among small crossovers.
With 36.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market currently gives you a fair number of attractive buying opportunities.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Buick Encore GX?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.
- Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 235 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 15.82% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $30,141 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2025 Buick Encore GX's resale value?
The current average of $30,141 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,804 CAD.
That softer pricing can help you buy with more confidence today, but it also means future resale values may face some pressure if the market stays loose. If you plan to sell later, condition, mileage, and trim will matter even more in protecting value. For now, the current trend suggests you should focus on buying well rather than assuming strong appreciation.
Should I buy a 2025 Buick Encore GX or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 15.82% compared with last year.
Consider the 2024 if:
- At $28,783 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $30,141 CAD average.
- It offers a refreshed look, a more upscale feel, and a comfortable ride.
The 2025 makes sense if you want to shop a year with meaningful price softening and a decent share of attractive listings. If you're more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value play because it costs less while still delivering the Encore GX's core strengths.
