Used 2025 Audi Q5 for Sale nearSt. John's, NL

How much does the 2025 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 12.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 415 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q5 earns an expert rating of 7.17/10. It arrives midway through the model year as a redesign of Audi’s bestselling model, and that update brings the brand’s current design language and tech suite to a compact SUV that aims to improve without abandoning a familiar formula.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

There is plenty to like if you value comfort and straightforward technology, and the standard all-wheel drive is a clear advantage for everyday Canadian driving. The trade-offs are a potentially polarising design, an irritating transmission, and a high base price. Overall, it is appealing if you want a premium compact SUV that is easy to live with, but it is not positioned as the definitive choice in the segment.

38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is presented as a refined, well-equipped redesign that keeps pace with newer rivals, and its standard all-wheel drive and premium cabin materials support that impression. The expert assessment also points to a comfortable, easy-to-use package rather than a complicated one, which is usually a good sign for day-to-day ownership.

Its powertrain is described as having a significant gap between throttle input and meaningful acceleration, with the dual-clutch transmission sometimes delivering rough shifts. That does not point to a simple, carefree driving experience, even if the overall package is competent.

Audi continues to offer a four-year/80,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and equivalent powertrain warranty, which helps reduce early ownership risk. For used buyers, the main long-term concern is that the transmission and premium hardware may be more expensive to live with if you want a trouble-free ownership experience over many years.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model is the least expensive way in, but all but the base model get matrix-design LED headlights and animated taillights. The higher trims add more lighting sophistication and a more upscale presentation, so you should check whether the features you want are standard or reserved for Progressiv and Technik.
• Powertrain: All versions use a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. The base Q5 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the SQ5 uses a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 with 362 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Standard driver assist features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning with swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and an exit alert feature.
• Infotainment: Standard equipment includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a cooled wireless charging pad. Progressiv adds four USB-C ports and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, while Technik adds a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.
• Fuel efficiency: Official Canadian fuel consumption ratings were not available for this model year. The EPA estimated combined fuel economy of 9.4 litres per 100 kilometres for the Q5 and 10.7 L/100 km for the SQ5.

Which 2025 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point if you want the Q5’s standard all-wheel drive, core infotainment setup, and premium feel without paying for extra equipment. It makes sense if you mainly want the redesigned Q5 experience at the lowest possible price.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value trim if you want a stronger equipment mix. It adds four USB-C ports and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, and it sits in the middle of the range without jumping all the way to the top-spec price.
• Technik: Choose this if you want the most advanced cabin setup, including the 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen and available air suspension with adaptive damping. It is the trim for shoppers who want the fullest tech and comfort experience.

All but the base model get matrix-design LED headlights and animated taillights, so that is an important trim-level difference to keep in mind.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q5?

The market looks moderate for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 415 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,324 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $54,324 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,885 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q5 has become more attractive to used buyers than it was a year ago. If you are planning to sell later, you should expect a softer market than last year’s, which means pricing your vehicle competitively will matter. The good news is that the current range still shows meaningful demand, so a well-kept example should remain saleable if you present it well.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q5 received too many Marginal or Acceptable ratings in IIHS crash testing for a Top Safety Pick designation.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assist features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning with swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring and traffic sign recognition. Also standard is an exit alert feature that uses the interior ambient lighting to flash warnings if occupants are about to open the door into the path of an oncoming vehicle or cyclist.

The main caveat is that the IIHS results were not very favourable, so safety-conscious used buyers should pay close attention to the crash-test context and the standard equipment on the specific vehicle you are considering.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.
• The redesign and updated tech suite matter to you, especially if you want the latest Q5 cabin and interface.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Q5 design and technology, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may offer a lower entry point while still giving you the core Q5 strengths.
