Used 2025 Audi Q5 for Sale nearSmiths Falls, ON

How much does the 2025 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 12.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 413 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q5 earns an expert rating of 7.2/10.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It is aimed at you if you want a compact luxury SUV that prioritizes comfort and straightforward technology over outright sportiness. The Q5 also brings standard all-wheel drive and a premium-feeling cabin, but the design may be polarising and the transmission is a drawback. The high base price is another trade-off to keep in mind.

With 38.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is presented as a polished, well-equipped luxury SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a premium interior, which supports its everyday usability.

Its powertrain is described as competent rather than especially quick, and the dual-clutch transmission can feel rough at times. The cabin materials are strong, and the model’s tech suite is a major strength, which helps it feel modern and easy to live with.

Audi’s four-year/80,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and equivalent powertrain warranty help reduce early ownership worry. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium, tech-heavy SUV can be costly to keep satisfying once warranty coverage starts to age out.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model is the one most likely to miss out on some of the nicer lighting features, while Progressiv and Technik add more premium equipment. If you want the most upscale feel, the higher trims are the ones to focus on.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and quattro all-wheel drive. The transmission can feel rough off the line, and turbo lag is noted.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning with swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and exit alert. The base model misses some of the lighting upgrades found higher up the range.
• Infotainment: Standard equipment includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a cooled wireless charging pad. The Technik trim adds a 10.9-inch passenger screen.
• Fuel efficiency: Official Canadian fuel consumption ratings were not available. The U.S. estimate is 9.4 litres per 100 kilometres for the Q5.

Which 2025 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Q5 experience with standard all-wheel drive and the main tech and safety features. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the redesigned Q5, but it is the least richly equipped.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more premium equipment, including extra charging ports and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system with 3D sound. If you want the sweet spot between price and features, this is the one to target.
• Technik: This is the most upscale regular Q5 trim, adding the front passenger touchscreen and available air suspension with adaptive damping. Choose it if you want the most advanced cabin and the most premium ride setup.

The safety package is standard across the range, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q5?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 413 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,078 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $54,078 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,609 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q5 has become more attractive to used buyers than it was a year ago. If you plan to sell later, you should expect the market to reward a well-kept example, but not necessarily at the same level as last year’s average. For you as a buyer, the softer pricing improves the case for shopping now rather than waiting.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q5 received too many Marginal or Acceptable ratings in IIHS crash testing for a Top Safety Pick designation.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning with swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and an exit alert feature that warns occupants if they are about to open a door into the path of an oncoming vehicle or cyclist.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.
• It brings Audi’s current design language and tech suite to the Q5.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a more developed third-generation update with a similarly upscale, tech-heavy cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned Q5 at a softer price, the 2025 is the better buy. If you are price-sensitive, keep an eye on the 2026 only if its updated presentation and cabin improvements matter more than the current-year discount.
