About 2025 Audi A5
overall
The A5 drops two body styles while taking the place of the A4 sedan in Audi’s lineup.
The redesigned 2025 Audi A5 compact luxury car takes on a more important role in the luxury brand’s lineup. The coupe and convertible body styles are gone, leaving only a five-door hatchback akin to the previous-generation A5 Sportback (Europe gets an A5 Avant wagon as well). The new A5 also replaces the slower-selling A4 sedan as Audi’s answer to the Alfa Romeo Giulia, BMW 3 Series, Cadillac CT4, Genesis G70, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Lexus IS.
Verdict: The new Audi A5 impresses with tech, handling poise, and practicality, but represents a significant effective price increase for returning Audi customers.

| Year-Round Low | $50,379 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $67,548 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $67,326 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −25.17% |

Is the 2025 Audi A5 a good car?
The 2025 Audi A5 is a moderate-market choice for used-car shoppers, with pricing that has moved lower and enough inventory to give you some flexibility while you shop.
27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you compare carefully.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi A5?
This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some confidence if you stay focused on value.
- Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 86 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 25.17% compared with last year.

The current average of $50,379 CAD sits slightly below last year's $67,326 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy at a more attractive entry point today. If you plan to sell later, resale value will depend heavily on how well the car is equipped, maintained, and priced relative to similar listings when you decide to move on.
Should I buy a 2025 Audi A5 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 25.17% compared with last year.
The bottom line: The 2025 Audi A5 makes sense if you want to shop a year with softer pricing and a decent pool of listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years as well, but the 2025 is the stronger starting point when you want current inventory and a better chance of finding a deal.
