Used 2025 Acura RDX for Sale near St Bernards-Jacques Fontaine, NL

How much does the 2025 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 10.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 171 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns an expert rating of 6.83/10. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It remains appealing because it blends subtle styling updates, a refreshed cabin presentation, and practical touches like the new wireless charging pad and revised cupholders. It is also described as enjoyable to drive, with good safety ratings and strong value for money, which makes it a sensible choice if you want a compact luxury crossover that feels familiar rather than experimental.

The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and frustrating infotainment controls are the biggest drawbacks, and the back seat is also called out as uncomfortable. Even so, 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2025 Acura RDX comes across as a familiar, well-sorted model rather than a risky redesign, and its long-running current-generation formula is part of the appeal. The expert evaluation also points to quality interior materials, thoughtful details, and a driving experience that becomes more favourable over time.

Its powertrain is described as robust and lively, with the caveat that fuel use rises quickly when you lean on the turbocharged engine. The cost-effectiveness commentary also notes that the money saved versus pricier rivals can offset some of that extra fuel consumption.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about mechanical novelty and more about living with the thirsty engine and the increasingly dated infotainment setup.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura RDX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model gives you the core RDX formula, while the A-Spec and Platinum Elite A-Spec add more visual flair and equipment. The base trim misses some higher-end convenience and parking features, so you should compare the equipment gap carefully if you want the best value.
• Powertrain: Every RDX uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and SH-AWD. It is lively, but the more you use the turbocharged torque, the more fuel it consumes.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system are reserved for higher trims, and the base RDX lacks low-speed front and rear braking.
• Infotainment: The dashboard display is 10.2 inches, and it is not a touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa Built-in are included, along with AcuraLink connected services and a Wi-Fi hotspot. All versions except the base model have navigation and the Acura/ELS Studio premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada rating is 9.9 L/100 km combined for the base trim and 10.3 L/100 km combined for the A-Spec trims.

Which 2025 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura RDX is offered in 3 trim levels: base, A-Spec, Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the value-focused starting point if you want the RDX’s standard turbocharged engine, SH-AWD, AcuraWatch, and the core luxury crossover experience without paying for extra appearance or convenience upgrades.
• A-Spec: This is the best-value choice if you want a more distinctive look and a richer equipment mix, including the upgraded infotainment and premium audio that are not part of the base model.
• Platinum Elite A-Spec: Choose this if you want the most upscale version, including full leather upholstery and the extra safety and parking tech that sits at the top of the range.

AcuraWatch is standard across the lineup, but the surround-view camera system is reserved for the Platinum Elite A-Spec, and the base trim lacks low-speed front and rear braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura RDX?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some patience and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 171 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,364 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $52,648 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,971 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RDX has become more attractive to used buyers than it was a year ago. If you buy now and keep the vehicle in good condition, you may benefit from a more favourable entry price than earlier shoppers faced.

For a future seller, the softer market means you should expect more competition when it is time to list. The upside is that the RDX still has a strong value story, so a well-kept example with desirable equipment should remain easier to position than a less popular luxury crossover.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX safe?

The 2025 Acura RDX earned a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a five-star overall crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is the standard safety package, and it includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims also add low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system.

One caveat is that the lane-assist systems were described as irritating in a range of driving situations, though you can turn them off with a steering-wheel button. The surround-view camera is also limited to the Platinum Elite A-Spec, so you will need to move up the range if that feature matters to you.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.
• The year brings subtle styling updates, a new wireless charging pad, improved Apple CarPlay and Android Auto presentation, and a top-trim leather upgrade.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this long-running RDX formula and you value the updated cabin touches, the 2025 model is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, especially if you can find a well-equipped example at a lower asking price.
