Used 2025 Acura RDX for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2025 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 11.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 182 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns a 6.8/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It is described as enjoyable to drive, with good safety ratings and excellent value for money, and it suits you well if you want a compact luxury crossover that balances everyday usefulness with a more engaging driving feel. The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and frustrating infotainment controls, with an uncomfortable back seat also standing out as a drawback.

With 30.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2025 Acura RDX is presented as a well-rounded compact luxury SUV that remains appealing even though the current generation is several years old. Its overall balance, quality, interior space, and practicality are highlighted as strengths, and the powertrain is described as lively and enjoyable in daily driving.

The performance notes also suggest the RDX should feel robust in regular use, with a turbocharged engine, a 10-speed automatic, and SH-AWD supporting confident road manners. Acura’s standard safety package and the model’s favourable crash protection also support the case for long-term confidence.

If you plan to keep one used, the biggest ownership risk is that the infotainment system’s awkward controls and the engine’s thirst may become more frustrating over time than any mechanical concern.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura RDX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model gives you the core RDX experience, but the A-Spec trims add a sportier look, while the Platinum Elite A-Spec brings the most upscale presentation, including full leather upholstery. If you want the best-value trim, the A-Spec is the one to focus on because it adds more visual and equipment appeal without moving all the way to the top trim.
• Powertrain: Every RDX includes a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and SH-AWD. The driving character is lively, but fuel use rises quickly when you lean on the turbocharged torque.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system are reserved for higher trims, and the base RDX lacks low-speed front and rear braking.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.2-inch display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa Built-in. The system is not a touchscreen, and the touchpad interface can be frustrating, so it is worth testing carefully.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada fuel economy rating is 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres combined for the base trim and 10.3 L/100 km combined for the A-Spec trims.

Which 2025 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura RDX is offered in 3 trim levels: base, A-Spec, and Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the trim to choose if you want the lowest entry point into the RDX lineup and are comfortable giving up some convenience features. It still gives you the core RDX formula, including the standard turbocharged engine, AWD, and AcuraWatch.
• A-Spec: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds a sportier appearance and a more distinctive cabin without jumping to the top-end price. It keeps the RDX’s strong fundamentals while giving you more style and equipment.
• Platinum Elite A-Spec: Choose this if you want the most upscale version of the RDX. It adds the richest presentation in the lineup, including full leather upholstery, and it is the trim that gets the surround-view camera system.

AcuraWatch is standard across the lineup, but low-speed front and rear braking and the surround-view camera system are reserved for higher trims, with the base model missing low-speed front and rear braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 182 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.20% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,319 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $52,395 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,004 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RDX has become more approachable for used buyers, which can help demand stay healthy if you decide to sell later. At the same time, the softer pricing means you may not recover as much as owners did when values were higher. If you buy well now, you could still be in a decent position later because the model remains desirable for its balance of practicality, comfort, and driving enjoyment.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX safe?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a five-star overall crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is standard, and it includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims also add low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system.

One caveat is that the lane-assist systems can be irritating in normal driving, and the adaptive cruise control can struggle to maintain a smooth following distance.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.20% compared with last year.
• The refreshed styling, updated centre console, improved wireless charging setup, and better presentation for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto matter to you.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this generation with the latest small updates and a softer used-market price, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are mainly focused on stretching your budget, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025 gives you the most current version of the RDX’s strengths without changing its core character.
