Used 2025 Acura RDX for Sale near Macdougall Settlement, NB

How much does the 2025 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 10.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 170 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns an expert rating of 6.83/10.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It remains appealing because it keeps its formula current with subtle styling updates, a new wireless charging pad, revised cupholders, and improved Apple CarPlay and Android Auto presentation. It is also described as enjoyable to drive, with good safety ratings and excellent value for money, which fits a compact luxury crossover that prioritises everyday usability.

The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and frustrating infotainment controls are the biggest drawbacks, and the back seat is also called out as uncomfortable. Even so, the market shows 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which supports its value case.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2025 Acura RDX is presented as a familiar, long-running model that keeps its core mechanical formula intact, which can be reassuring if you want a proven setup rather than a fresh redesign. Its turbocharged engine, SH-AWD system, and standard safety package all point to a well-established design, and the expert assessment also highlights quality, interior space, practicality, and thoughtful details.

The performance evaluation says the RDX feels lively and that its steering, brakes, and adaptive damping are well matched to daily driving. The cost-effectiveness assessment also notes that the money saved versus pricier rivals can offset some of the extra fuel it uses.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the infotainment system and fuel consumption may continue to be the most frustrating parts of living with it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura RDX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes a base level of specification, A-Spec, and Platinum Elite A-Spec. The base model is the one to watch most closely for feature gaps, since higher trims add more equipment and the Platinum Elite A-Spec brings full leather upholstery.
• Powertrain: Every RDX uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and SH-AWD. The driving character is lively, but the turbo engine is thirsty when you use the torque.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system are reserved for higher trims, and the base RDX lacks low-speed front and rear braking.
• Infotainment: The dashboard display is 10.2 inches, and it is not a touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa Built-in are included, and the system also offers SiriusXM satellite radio and AcuraLink connected services. All versions except the base model have navigation and an Acura/ELS Studio premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada fuel economy rating is 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres combined for the base trim and 10.3 L/100 km combined for the A-Spec trims.

Which 2025 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura RDX is offered in 3 trim levels: base, A-Spec, and Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the value play if you want the RDX’s core strengths without stretching the budget. You still get the standard turbocharged engine, SH-AWD, AcuraWatch, wireless smartphone integration, and the 10.2-inch display, but you miss out on some of the richer convenience and safety upgrades found higher up the range.
• A-Spec: This is the trim that adds more visual flair and a sportier cabin presentation, while also bringing navigation and the premium sound system. It is the best-value choice if you want a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• Platinum Elite A-Spec: This is the one to choose if you want the most complete RDX experience. It adds full leather upholstery and the surround-view camera system, and it is the only trim with low-speed front and rear braking and adaptive damping suspension.

AcuraWatch is standard across the range, but the surround-view camera system is reserved for the Platinum Elite A-Spec, and the base RDX lacks low-speed front and rear braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find meaningful value.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 170 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.29% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,365 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $53,012 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,091 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RDX has become more attractive to used buyers than it was a year ago. If you buy now, you may be entering at a softer point in the market than previous shoppers did.

For a future seller, that also means resale upside may be more limited unless the market tightens again. If you plan to keep the vehicle for several years, the current pricing gives you a better starting point than last year’s average.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX safe?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a five-star overall crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is the standard safety package, and it includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims also offer low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system.

One caveat is that the lane-assist systems were described as irritating in a range of driving situations, though you can turn them off with a steering-wheel button. The adaptive cruise control was also noted as less smooth than ideal when maintaining following distance.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.29% compared with last year.
• This year brings subtle styling updates, a new wireless charging pad, improved Apple CarPlay and Android Auto presentation, and the top Platinum Elite A-Spec trim adds full leather upholstery.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this long-running RDX formula, the 2025 is the one to target because it adds useful updates without changing the vehicle’s core strengths. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025’s softer pricing and updated cabin details make it the cleaner buy for most shoppers.
