Used 2025 Acura RDX for Sale near LowerWoodstock, NB

How much does the 2025 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 10.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 172 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns an expert rating of 6.8/10.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It’s a strong fit if you want a compact luxury crossover that feels current without abandoning the familiar formula. The updates for this model year are modest but useful, including refreshed styling details, a wireless charging pad, and an improved presentation of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also remains enjoyable to drive and offers good value for money.

The main trade-offs are its poor fuel economy and frustrating infotainment controls, and the back seat is also described as uncomfortable. Even so, 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2025 Acura RDX is presented as a familiar, carryover model with modest updates, which can be reassuring if you prefer a proven formula over a redesign. Its turbocharged powertrain and all-wheel-drive setup are established parts of the package, and the model is described as pleasing to live with over time thanks to its quality, interior space, practicality, and thoughtful details.

The performance content also suggests the RDX is mechanically straightforward in the way it delivers power, with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and SH-AWD. That said, the same content makes clear that the engine is thirsty, so long-term ownership costs may be affected by fuel use.

Acura also includes a maintenance perk in the ownership experience, with the first scheduled maintenance visit covered.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about novelty and more about living with the infotainment system and fuel consumption over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura RDX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model gives you the core RDX formula, while A-Spec and Platinum Elite A-Spec trims add more visual flair and equipment. The Platinum Elite A-Spec also adds full leather upholstery, and the base model misses some higher-end features.
• Powertrain: Every RDX uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and SH-AWD. It’s lively, but the engine uses more fuel the harder you drive it.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims also add low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.2-inch display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa Built-in. The system is not a touchscreen, and it relies on Acura’s touchpad interface.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada fuel economy rating is 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres combined for the base trim and 10.3 L/100 km combined for the A-Spec trims.

Which 2025 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura RDX is offered in 3 trim levels: base, A-Spec, and Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the value play if you want the RDX’s core strengths without stretching for extras. You still get the standard turbocharged engine, SH-AWD, AcuraWatch, and the 10.2-inch infotainment display, but you miss some of the higher-end convenience and camera features found above it.
• A-Spec: This is the best-value trim if you want a more distinctive look and a richer feature set without going all the way to the top. It keeps the same mechanical package but adds the sportier appearance treatment and more equipment than the base model.
• Platinum Elite A-Spec: This is the one to choose if you want the most complete RDX experience. It adds full leather upholstery, adaptive damping suspension, and the surround-view camera system, making it the most upscale and best-equipped version.

AcuraWatch is standard across the range, but the surround-view camera system is reserved for the Platinum Elite A-Spec, and the base RDX lacks low-speed front and rear braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 172 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,369 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $52,540 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,978 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RDX has become more attractive to used buyers than it was a year ago. If you’re planning to sell later, you should expect a softer resale environment than before, especially if the market continues to favour shoppers.

The good news is that the model still has clear appeal thanks to its equipment, practicality, and driving character. The challenge is that fuel economy and infotainment frustrations may limit how much premium buyers are willing to pay over time.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX safe?

The 2025 RDX earned a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and a five-star overall crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is the standard safety package, and it includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims also offer low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system.

One caveat is that the lane-assist systems can be irritating in everyday driving, and the adaptive cruise control can struggle to maintain a smooth following distance.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.92% compared with last year.
• This year brings modest updates that keep the cabin and exterior feeling current, including a wireless charging pad and improved Apple CarPlay and Android Auto presentation.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this familiar RDX formula, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may deliver much of the same core experience for less, especially if you can live without the latest small updates.
