Used 2025 Acura RDX for Sale nearKamloops, BC

How much does the 2025 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 10.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 176 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns an expert rating of 6.83/10.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It remains appealing because it blends subtle updates, a practical cabin, and an enjoyable driving character without changing its core formula. The current-generation design is still familiar, but Acura has refreshed the styling, added a wireless charging pad, and improved the presentation of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The trade-offs are clear: the infotainment controls are frustrating, the back seat is uncomfortable, and fuel economy is poor.

With 35.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2025 Acura RDX comes across as a familiar, well-sorted model rather than a risky experiment, and its long-running current-generation design should help you feel confident about what you’re getting. The expert evaluation also points to solid driving dynamics, good safety ratings, and thoughtful details that make it pleasant to live with.

Its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and SH-AWD system are described as robust and enjoyable in daily use, and the model’s quality, interior space, and practicality are highlighted as strengths. Acura also includes a long list of standard safety equipment, which adds to the sense that the RDX is built to be easy to own.

The main long-term ownership concern for used buyers is that the infotainment system remains a persistent annoyance, so you should make sure you’re comfortable with it before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura RDX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model, A-Spec, and Platinum Elite A-Spec each bring different levels of equipment and presentation. The base trim gets the essentials, but higher trims add more premium touches, and the Platinum Elite A-Spec stands out with full leather upholstery and a surround-view camera system.
• Powertrain: Every RDX uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and SH-AWD. The engine is lively, but it is also thirsty, especially when driven hard.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Low-speed front and rear braking is not on the base RDX, and the surround-view camera system is reserved for the Platinum Elite A-Spec.
• Infotainment: The RDX uses a 10.2-inch display with the True Touchpad Interface rather than a touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa Built-in are included, and all versions except the base model have navigation and an Acura/ELS Studio premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada rating is 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres combined for the base trim and 10.3 L/100 km combined for the A-Spec trims.

Which 2025 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura RDX is offered in 3 trim levels: base, A-Spec, and Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the value-focused choice if you want the RDX’s core strengths without stretching for extras. You still get the turbocharged engine, SH-AWD, AcuraWatch, and the standard panoramic glass sunroof, but you miss out on some of the nicer convenience and safety upgrades found higher up the range.
• A-Spec: This trim adds a sportier look with gloss black exterior accents and a finned rear diffuser panel, while keeping the same mechanical package. It suits you if you want the more expressive appearance and can live with the same infotainment frustrations and fuel consumption.
• Platinum Elite A-Spec: This is the best-equipped version and the one to choose if you want the most premium feel. It adds full leather upholstery, adaptive damping, and the surround-view camera system, making it the most complete option in the lineup.

Only the base RDX lacks low-speed front and rear braking, while the surround-view camera system is reserved for the Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura RDX?

The market looks moderate for selective buyers, so you should be able to shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 176 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.33% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,367 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $53,323 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,464 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RDX has become more approachable for used buyers, which can help support demand if you decide to sell later. A softer market today may also mean you need to price your own listing competitively to stand out. If the model continues to hold its reputation for value, practicality, and driving enjoyment, that should help it remain appealing to future shoppers.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX safe?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a five-star overall crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trim levels also add low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system.

One caveat is that the lane-assist systems can be irritating in regular driving, and the adaptive cruise control can struggle to maintain a smooth following distance.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.33% compared with last year.
• The 2025 model’s updates appeal to you, especially the refreshed styling, wireless charging pad, and improved Apple CarPlay and Android Auto presentation.

The bottom line: The 2025 RDX is the right pick if you want the latest version of this familiar formula and you value the updated cabin touches and current pricing. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025 gives you a strong mix of value, equipment, and market softness.
