Is the 2025 Acura ADX a good car?

The 2025 Acura ADX earns a 7.5/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The ADX is aimed at you if you want a compact luxury crossover with a premium badge, a higher driving position, and a polished feel in a smaller footprint. It delivers on comfort, convenience, and styling at a competitive price, but it is described as underpowered compared with key rivals and it does not offer a hybrid option.

The main trade-offs are its modest power output versus some competitors and the lack of electrification for shoppers who want better efficiency or a more performance-oriented feel.

With 21.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some room to find value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Acura ADX reliable?

The ADX is presented as a new model with standard advanced safety features and a premium-oriented design, which should help support confidence for everyday use. Its standard all-wheel drive, quiet cabin, and broad feature set point to a vehicle built for comfortable, low-stress ownership.

The available performance information suggests the powertrain is adequate for daily driving, with enough response for merging and city use, while the cost-effectiveness notes show pricing that is competitive within the segment. Acura also includes a strong standard equipment set, which can reduce the need to add options later.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the ADX’s newer-model status means you should pay close attention to how well the vehicle has been maintained and whether any early-model issues have surfaced.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura ADX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard ADX already brings LED lighting, 18-inch wheels, and a premium cabin feel, while A-Spec models add 19-inch wheels, LED fog lights, rear USB-C ports, and more exterior and interior visual upgrades. The Platinum Elite A-Spec adds still more luxury touches, including additional gloss black trim and extra convenience features.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.5-litre VTEC turbo four-cylinder engine with AWD and a CVT. It makes 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque, and the available information says it is adequate for everyday driving but not class-leading for power.
• Safety package: The standard AcuraWatch suite includes adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, a blind-spot information system, forward-collision warning, and lane-keeping assist. The surround-view camera system is reserved for the Platinum Elite A-Spec.
• Infotainment: Every ADX gets a nine-inch centre touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wi-fi hotspot capability, wireless phone charging, Bluetooth, two front-row USB-C ports, and an eight-speaker Acura sound system. The top trim adds Alexa Built-In, Google Built-In, HD Radio, and a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen system.
• Fuel efficiency: If fuel economy matters most to you, the available information points you toward a competitor with a hybrid powertrain rather than the ADX.

Which 2025 Acura ADX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura ADX is offered in 2 trim levels: ADX and Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Here's the short version:

• ADX: This is the trim to start with if you want the core ADX experience at the lowest entry point. You still get the standard AWD powertrain, the full AcuraWatch safety suite, wireless smartphone integration, and the premium styling that defines the model.
• Platinum Elite A-Spec: This is the best fit if you want the most complete ADX package. It adds the most upscale tech and convenience features, including the surround-view camera system, Alexa Built-In, Google Built-In, HD Radio, and the upgraded Bang & Olufsen audio system.

The surround-view camera system comes on the Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura ADX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 21.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 127 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $44,873 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura ADX's resale value?

The current average of $44,873 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,265 CAD.

That drop suggests the ADX is currently sitting in a softer pricing environment, which can be helpful if you are buying now but less favourable if you are planning to sell soon. If you own one for the long term, resale value will depend heavily on how well the market absorbs this new model over time and how strongly shoppers respond to its premium features and standard safety equipment.

Is the 2025 Acura ADX safe?

The ADX is too new as of this writing to have seen crash-testing with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but Acura says it is targeting the same strong results seen by its related models.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard AcuraWatch suite includes adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, a blind-spot information system, forward-collision warning, and lane-keeping assist. The surround-view camera system is available only on the Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura ADX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 21.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.31% compared with last year.
• The 2025 Acura ADX delivers on its promise: an experience that is scaled down in size but not standards.

The bottom line: If you want the newest ADX with its full standard safety and premium-feel package, the 2025 is the clear choice. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you should focus on the listings that sit below the current average and compare condition, mileage, and equipment carefully.
