As a second-time Toyota Tundra owner upgrading from the 2017 model, the 2024 Tundra i-Force MAX feels like a major step forward in both power and refinement. The twin-turbo hybrid V6 delivers noticeably stronger acceleration and towing performance while running quieter and smoother than the old V8. Inside, the transformation is even more striking—the cabin now feels modern and upscale, with a massive touchscreen, advanced driver-assist features, and a more comfortable, well-appointed interior. While fuel economy still isn’t class-leading, the added efficiency of the hybrid system is a welcome improvement. Overall, this upgrade feels like moving from rugged reliability to refined capability—maintaining Toyota’s toughness while adding the technology, comfort, and design the older generation lacked.

Previous Tundra owner, traded in my 2011 Platinum. Has more features than anticipated, love the Hybrid system, great gas mileage super comfortable ride with the air suspension. A lot of power and torque with the V6 Twin Turbo plus Hybrid. It leaves you stuck to the seat, wow! Love the truck, at a great price too!

2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid Price Trends
CarGurus tracks the prices of millions of used car listings every year. See how the average price of 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid prices has changed over time.
See more price trendsHow much does the 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $67,613 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $67,059 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $79,672 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $79,720 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −15.19% |
Prices have softened 15.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 143 listings available, which gives you a useful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid a good car?
Yes — the 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. That kind of feedback suggests you may be looking at a model year that resonates well with people who have lived with it. With 25.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.
Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around long-term ownership risk, especially if the specific truck you’re considering has been well maintained.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush.
- Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 143 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 15.19% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $67,059 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid's resale value?
The current average of $67,613 CAD sits slightly below last year's $79,720 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price, you may be better positioned to absorb future depreciation. The relatively stable current average versus the year-round low also suggests there is still some pricing discipline in the market.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 15.19% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line:
If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, owner satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2024 is the primary year to focus on. If your main goal is to stretch your budget further, you may also want to compare nearby years and see whether a lower asking price outweighs the appeal of this model year’s stronger market position.
