Used 2024 Toyota Tundra for Sale nearBrantford, ON

How much does the 2024 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have softened 13.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 373 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Yes — you get a 5/5 user rating and a 6.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 8/10.

The 2024 Toyota Tundra is a massive Texas-built full-size pickup that aims to compete with the heavyweights while leaning on Toyota’s reputation for dependability. It stands out for its powerful i-Force Max drivetrain, and the TRD Pro version is noted for its ride and handling. It also offers an open-air driving experience, which gives it a more distinctive feel than a typical big truck.

The trade-offs are clear: it still cannot match the towing and payload capacities of the class leader, and its design may be polarising. Forward visibility is poor, and the interior materials feel cheap.

For shoppers who want a large pickup with character and Toyota’s long-standing reputation, it has a clear identity. The market also shows 33.2% of listings as good or great deals, which helps support its appeal.

Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Toyota’s reputation for dependability is a major part of the Tundra’s appeal, and the model is positioned around long-term durability. The expert review also points to reliability as the Toyota’s chief selling point, even while noting that the jury is still out on how well this third-generation truck will hold up over many years.

The performance notes reinforce that it is built with serious hardware, including a twin-turbocharged V6 and, in i-Force Max form, a hybrid version with a battery and electric motor. Toyota also includes generous connected-services trials, including up to ten years of Safety Connect and Service Connect, which can make early ownership easier.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this generation’s durability record is still developing, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Tundra?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and Capstone are the main trims, with packages such as 1794 Edition, 1794 Limited Edition, TRD Off Road, and TRD Pro available on some versions. The base truck misses some of the more advanced safety and convenience equipment, while higher trims add more of the features you may want.
• Powertrain: Every Tundra uses a twin-turbocharged 3.4-litre V6, with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive available. i-Force Max versions add a hybrid version of the V6 with standard 4WD.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, a road-sign recognition system, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors with automatic braking require an option package on lower trims or a Limited or higher trim.
• Infotainment: The truck can have a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and a 12-speaker JBL audio system. It also supports connected services, though some features rely on trial subscriptions.
• Fuel efficiency: The TRD Pro averaged 16.5 litres per 100 kilometres in testing, and Natural Resources Canada’s combined figure was 12.3 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Toyota Tundra trim should I buy?

The 2024 Toyota Tundra is offered in 5 trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and Capstone.

Here's the short version:

• SR: This is the entry point if you want the Tundra’s core capability and Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 without paying for extra luxury or tech.
• SR5: This is the trim to focus on if you want a better balance of equipment and value, especially if you plan to add useful options.
• Limited: This is the best-value trim for many buyers because it unlocks more of the safety package, including blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors with automatic braking.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want a more upscale Tundra with more comfort and convenience features.
• Capstone: This is the top-end choice if you want the most premium version of the Tundra lineup.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard, but some extra safety features require either an option package on lower trims or a Limited or higher trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Tundra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 373 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,995 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $54,995 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,849 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has softened, which can make the truck more attractive to used buyers but less favourable for sellers trying to maximise return. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current trend implies you may need to price competitively to move it quickly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra safe?

The 2024 Tundra earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS and five-star ratings across the board from NHTSA, with a four-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard on every 2024 Tundra. It includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, a road-sign recognition system, and automatic high-beam headlights.

Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors with automatic braking are not standard on lower trims; you need an option package or a Limited or higher trim. The expert review also notes that lane-centring assist can behave inconsistently, and the IIHS moderate overlap frontal-impact result includes a Poor rating for rear-seat passenger protection.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It stands out for its powerful i-Force Max drivetrain and open-air driving experience.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $50,844 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $54,995 CAD average.
• It offers a more advanced and efficient take on the Tundra.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $60,275 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $54,995 CAD average.
• It adds new tech features and a retro TRD Rally Package.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing and character, the 2024 is the main path to consider. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play.
