Used 2024 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearSurrey, BC

How much does the 2024 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 5.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 446 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

It stands out as Mazda’s smallest crossover SUV, and it leans hard into style and driving enjoyment rather than simply maximising space. That makes it a strong fit if you want a compact crossover that feels polished and engaging. The trade-off is that rear-seat room and cargo space are tight, and the turbocharged version is noted for poor fuel economy.

36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which points to a fairly healthy share of attractive offers in the market.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CX-30’s appeal is built around refinement, strong safety ratings, and a polished driving character, which all support confidence in everyday use. Its standard all-wheel drive and well-rounded feature set also help it feel like a thoughtfully engineered small SUV.

The turbocharged engine is the main ownership watch-out, since it is the version most clearly associated with higher fuel use. For used buyers, that means the long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about choosing the right powertrain for your driving habits and fuel budget.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GX, GS, and GT trims use the 191-horsepower 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine, while Suna models get the turbocharged engine. The cabin is stylish and refined across the lineup, but the base setup is less richly equipped than higher trims, and the GT and Suna versions add more upscale convenience and tech.
• Powertrain: You get a standard 191-hp 2.5-litre four-cylinder in most trims, with a turbocharged four-cylinder available for more power. The turbo delivers stronger performance, but it is also the version called out for poor fuel economy.
• Safety package: The CX-30 includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert on every version. Forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control come in at the GS trim, while GT and Suna models add front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and traffic jam assist.
• Infotainment: GT and Suna versions get a 10.25-inch infotainment display, while other models use an 8.8-inch screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, and the larger display adds touchscreen functionality with those smartphone mirroring platforms. GT and Suna trims also add USB-C ports, a wireless smartphone charger, and a Bose premium audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbocharged engine is rated at 9.3 L/100 km in combined driving, and the test route returned 13.3 L/100 km. The standard 191-hp 2.5-litre four-cylinder is described as returning decent fuel efficiency.

Which 2024 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 4 trim levels: GX, GS, GT, Suna.

Here's the short version:

• GX: This is the entry point if you want the CX-30’s style, standard all-wheel drive, and core safety basics without stretching the budget. It suits you best if you value the design and driving feel first, and can live without the extra convenience and driver-assistance features found higher up.
• GS: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the main driver-assistance suite, including forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. If you want the most important safety and convenience upgrades without jumping to the pricier tech-heavy trims, this is the one to focus on.
• GT: This trim adds the larger 10.25-inch infotainment display, wireless smartphone charging, USB-C ports, a Bose premium audio system, and more advanced parking and traffic-jam assistance features. It makes sense if you want a more premium daily driver and value the extra tech.
• Suna: This is the most distinctive and performance-oriented choice, with the turbocharged engine and the richest equipment list. It suits you if you want the strongest powertrain and are willing to accept the fuel-economy trade-off.

Move up the trim ladder to access adaptive headlights, and choose GT or Suna if you want the most complete safety and convenience package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

The market looks moderately favourable if you are a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 446 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,170 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $29,170 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,004 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if prices stay under pressure. The current range suggests the CX-30 is still holding meaningful value, especially for well-equipped examples with desirable features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS and earns five-star ratings in every NHTSA assessment except rollover resistance, where it gets a four-star rating.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every version includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, plus forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control in the broader safety suite. In Canada, those latter features are not standard until the GS trim, while GT and Suna models add front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and traffic jam assist.

One caveat is that the automatic curve speed reduction technology is described as too aggressive, which may bother you in everyday driving.

Should I buy a 2024 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year adds a new Suna trim level, USB-C charging ports, and an available larger infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,812 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $29,170 CAD average.
• It offers an attractive design and a classy, high-quality interior.

The bottom line: If you want the newer feature set, stronger market availability, and the current-year updates, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money and you can live without the latest additions, the 2023 is the smarter value play.
