Is the 2024 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Dodge Durango earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth ride, abundant features, and strong power, and many also like the AWD setup for its performance and fuel efficiency. It fits especially well if you want a three-row SUV with a more muscular personality than most family haulers. With 35.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a meaningful amount of market choice.

Is the 2024 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights a dependable-feeling package with a smooth ride and strong power, and owners also describe the AWD setup positively. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to service records and inspection results, since long-term ownership risk can rise if prior maintenance or recall work was neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 477 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,072 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $49,145 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,716 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Durango easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you purchase at the current average, your resale position will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A model with strong equipment and clean history should hold appeal better than one with visible wear or incomplete records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $42,636 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $49,145 CAD average.
• It adds standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $50,528 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $49,145 CAD average.
• It keeps the modern infotainment system while leaning into a trimmed final-year lineup.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the current-year balance of price, satisfaction, and selection. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, especially if its lower asking price matters more than the newer model year.
