How much does the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 10.89% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

It stands out as the only minivan available in Canada with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, giving you an emissions advantage if you want electrification without going fully electric. The cabin is described as comfortable, and the design is stylish and contemporary rather than overly busy.

The trade-offs are clear: all-wheel drive is not available, and it is considered poor value for money. Even so, it remains a well-executed family minivan with a distinctive plug-in hybrid twist.

With 30.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is presented as essentially unchanged, which can be reassuring if you want a proven formula rather than a fresh redesign. Its plug-in hybrid setup builds on the Pacifica’s established minivan platform, and the expert review highlights a comfortable ride and quiet operation.

The powertrain is described as making the gasoline engine work less hard under low loads, which helps reduce noise in everyday driving. The plug-in hybrid system also gets high marks for making good use of electric driving mode.

If you buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the battery and charging-related benefits still fit your routine, since the value case depends on regular plug-in use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Select and Pinnacle trims differ meaningfully, with the base Select already getting all-LED exterior lighting and the Pinnacle adding 18-inch wheels, Nappa leather upholstery, and second-row pillows. The Select is the best-value choice if you want the plug-in hybrid experience without stretching to the top trim.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.6-litre V6 paired with a two-motor hybrid system and a 16-kWh battery pack. It is front-wheel drive only, and the electric assistance helps with quick take-offs and quieter low-load driving.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. Pinnacle models add a 360-degree camera system plus parallel and perpendicular park assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM with 360L. Built-in navigation and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system are available, and the system supports up to 12 USB-C ports.
• Fuel efficiency: It is rated at 2.9 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined in electric-range testing and 8.0 L/100 km combined in hybrid mode.

Which 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is offered in 2 trim levels: Select and Pinnacle.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the best-value trim because it gives you the plug-in hybrid powertrain, all-LED exterior lighting, and the core safety and tech features without the higher price of the Pinnacle. It is the trim to target if you want the Pacifica Hybrid’s main strengths at the lowest entry point.
• Pinnacle: Choose this if you want the most upscale Pacifica Hybrid, with 18-inch wheels, Nappa leather upholstery, second-row pillows, the 360-degree camera system, and park-assist upgrades. It suits you best if comfort and convenience matter more than price.

Safety equipment carries over across the lineup, while the Pinnacle adds the extra camera and parking aids.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 70 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,852 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $54,852 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,559 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also suggests used values have already adjusted downward. If you plan to sell later, the current market shows that this model year is not immune to depreciation, especially when shoppers have a wide price spread to compare.

The upside is that the Pacifica Hybrid has a distinctive niche as the only plug-in hybrid minivan in Canada, which can help sustain interest from the right buyers. Regular plug-in use and strong efficiency credentials should continue to support demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid safe?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star side crash-test ratings and four-star frontal and rollover ratings.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. Pinnacle models add a 360-degree camera system plus parallel and perpendicular park assist.

IIHS ratings for the plug-in hybrid were not available at the time of publication, so the safety picture leans more heavily on NHTSA results and the standard driver-assistance suite. The 2024 model also adds an Emergency Vehicle Alert System that warns you about nearby emergency vehicles or road hazards on the central touchscreen.

Should I buy a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 adds an Emergency Vehicle Alert System and keeps the plug-in hybrid formula essentially unchanged.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $38,267 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $54,852 CAD average.
• It is an efficient, tech-rich family hauler.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the latest version of this plug-in hybrid minivan and are comfortable paying more for the current market. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you can find one with the equipment you want.
