Used 2024 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearKelowna, BC

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 13.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 162 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It stands out as a larger, bolder three-row midsize SUV with a more rugged appearance, more standard driver aids, and a much larger touchscreen. The trade-offs are that the base LS trim is a little too basic, the range-topping RS trim is pricey, and the Traverse still feels its size.

27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Traverse is presented as a more modern and more substantial version of the model, with meaningful improvements in space, technology, and standard driver aids. Its turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder makes more power and torque than the outgoing V6, and the stop-and-start system is described as seamless in operation.

If you want a used Traverse, the main long-term ownership risk is paying more for a newer, more complex vehicle that still feels large in everyday use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Traverse?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LT, Z71, and RS each bring a different character, and the base LS is described as a little too basic. The Z71 is aimed at shoppers who want moderate off-road capability, while the RS is loaded with nearly every available feature but is pricey.
• Powertrain: You get a turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder with 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque, replacing the previous V6. All-wheel drive is standard on every trim in Canada, and the Z71 uses a dual-clutch arrangement for better torque transfer in slippery conditions.
• Safety package: Every model gets automatic emergency braking with cyclist and pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, rear pedestrian alert, and a surround-view parking camera.
• Infotainment: The standard 17.7-inch touchscreen is a major upgrade, and it includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get an 11-inch digital instrument display and Google-based software.
• Fuel efficiency: Official Natural Resources Canada estimates are 12.4 L/100 km in the city, 9.9 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.3 L/100 km combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Traverse trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Traverse is offered in 3 trim levels: LT, Z71, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the most accessible way into the Traverse lineup, but the base setup is also the one described as a little too basic. It makes sense if you want the core space, standard safety tech, and the big touchscreen without stretching for extras.
• Z71: This is the best-value choice if you want the Traverse’s more distinctive personality. It adds the rugged, moderate off-road focus, and it suits you if you want a more adventurous look and capability without going all the way to the top trim.
• RS: This is the most feature-rich version, but it is also the priciest. Choose it if you want the loaded experience and are comfortable paying for it.

The safety package is standard across the range, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 162 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.18% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,064 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $48,127 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,435 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the current year more attractive for buyers than for sellers. If you own one and plan to sell later, the softer pricing trend means you may need to be realistic about expectations unless demand tightens.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse safe?

The 2024 Traverse had not undergone crash tests from NHTSA or IIHS at the time of the test drive.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

All models get automatic emergency braking with cyclist and pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, rear pedestrian alert, and a surround-view parking camera. The safety suite is standard across the range, so you do not need to move up a trim for the core driver-assistance equipment.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a more rugged design, more standard driver aids, and a much larger touchscreen.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $52,779 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $48,127 CAD average.
• The Trailering Package becomes standard, making towing easier.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2024 is the smarter buy because pricing has softened and the feature set is already strong. If towing convenience matters more and you are willing to pay extra, the 2025 is the better fit.
