Is the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. It stands out as a large, body-on-frame SUV with three rows of seating, strong towing ability, and cargo flexibility that suits families and buyers who regularly haul people or gear. The independent rear suspension also helps improve third-row space and comfort while increasing cargo capacity, and the broad equipment list adds modern convenience for everyday use. With 32.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Tahoe’s appeal comes from its proven full-size SUV formula: body-on-frame construction, strong towing ability, and a practical cabin layout that supports family and utility use. Its modern connectivity and improved rear-seat packaging also suggest a vehicle designed to handle regular use without feeling outdated.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its size and thirsty V8 engines can make day-to-day running costs higher than smaller SUVs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 139 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.30% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $75,769 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $76,495 CAD sits slightly below last year's $85,281 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Tahoe has become more accessible on the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still attract attention, but the softer market means you may need to price competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $86,049 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $76,495 CAD average.
• It adds a refreshed exterior and a more modern interior.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better value if you want the Tahoe’s space, towing ability, and tech without paying for the newer model’s update. If you want the freshest styling and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the upgrade path; if price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter buy.
