The 2024 Audi Q5 is presented as a refined, comfort-focused luxury SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a premium-feeling cabin, which are traits many used buyers look for in long-term ownership. For a used purchase, the main risk is less about the vehicle’s basic appeal and more about choosing a well-maintained example that has been cared for consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 563 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,439 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $37,522 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,420 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q5 has become more accessible on the used market, which can help you buy at a lower entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should be grounded in current market softness rather than last year’s higher pricing. If demand stays steady, a well-kept Q5 should still appeal to shoppers who want a premium, practical SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,351 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,522 CAD average.
• It blends sporty character with everyday comfort.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,805 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,522 CAD average.
• It brings a redesign with updated design language and tech.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest mix of comfort, quality, and current-market value. If price matters most, the 2023 is the smarter path, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more.
