For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about the core vehicle and more about living with its frustrating infotainment system and premium-SUV running costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 200 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.07% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $45,578 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $45,578 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,681 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the RDX easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your purchase price matters more than usual. Buying well below the average should help protect your position when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,956 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $45,578 CAD average.
• It offers strong performance, comfort, and value.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,012 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $45,578 CAD average.
• It adds subtle updates, a wireless charging pad, and improved smartphone integration.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the current-year balance of price, equipment, and satisfaction. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want the newer updates and are comfortable paying more.
