Fully loaded with the platinum trim. Very nicely built wait as expected. The hybrid system is very cool and it can actually go about 30 miles on battery alone.

Six months into 23 Panamera 4 as daily driver. Base car with surround view and 14 way seats. Could not be happier with build quality and handling. Despite girth and weight it keeps up with the best through twisting country roads with changes in elevation. High speed runs quiet and very comfortable. Precise steering, good road feel and flat coil spring suspension on Sport mode. Despite not having rear wheel steering, I manage easy three point turns and tight parking better that in my last car, a 2018 BMW M2. Although not a screamer in acceleration, the base engine is more than adequate for real-world driving. Porsche info. sys. interface is quirky and getting string into memory and to hold, is a pain. Even Porsche guru had problem. Porsche.com is a black hole in trying to sort thins out. The car itself is a great big, old school sports sedan. Stay away from all the options, unless you have deep pockets. They do not, for the most part, add to the diving pleasure. They do, however, satisfy the hedonist (and Porsches bottom line).

The Panamera might not be the first car that comes to mind when you think of Porsche, but the 2023 model has no shortage of talent.

Long ago, Porsche determined it could not survive by manufacturing sports cars alone. With that realization in hand, it launched the Cayenne SUV, then followed it up with the four-door Panamera grand tourer. These decisions proved wise, and today, the successful Panamera is two years past its 2021 model-year freshening and likely closing in on the end of its second-generation run.

The Panamera blends the styling elements of a 911 Carrera with the practical, passenger-friendly configuration of a sportback or sports wagon design. In addition, the lineup is diverse. The 2023 Porsche Panamera is available in three body styles and with your choice between multiple drivetrains.
