Is the 2023 Porsche Macan a good car?

The owner feedback also points to a reliable, dependable ownership experience, with praise for its trouble-free feel and the confidence it inspires over the long term. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger risk is less about day-to-day dependability and more about choosing a well-maintained example with a clear service history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before moving quickly.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 162 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $58,565 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $58,565 CAD sits slightly below last year's $74,956 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of immediate overpaying. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $54,208 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $58,565 CAD average.
• It delivers a more sports-car-like driving feel.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, owner satisfaction, and shopping flexibility. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value path, especially if you find one in similar condition and equipment.
