Should I buy a 2023 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a sensible choice if you want the refreshed first-generation Kicks with strong owner approval and a market that has eased from last year. If your priority is getting the lowest possible entry price, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 stands out as the safer pick if you want a well-liked, value-oriented small SUV with solid deal availability.
