Used 2023 Kia Telluride for Sale nearOrleans, ON

How much does the 2023 Kia Telluride cost?

Prices have softened 14.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 237 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2023 Kia Telluride a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Kia Telluride earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 9/10 expert rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the comfort, technology, and upscale feel, and many say it feels more luxurious than its price suggests. The roomy cabin and extensive feature content also come through as recurring strengths.

The main trade-offs are some cheap-feeling interior materials and a manual third-row seating setup that some owners would improve. Even so, the Telluride’s family-friendly three-row layout and strong equipment list make it a compelling choice if you want a well-rounded SUV for daily use.

With 25.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value to be found in the market.

Is the 2023 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as comfortable, upscale, and well equipped, and those are the kinds of traits that usually support dependable day-to-day ownership. The expert drive also points to a smooth, composed SUV that feels easy to live with over time.

Kia’s standard equipment and broad feature set add to the sense that this is a vehicle you can count on for family duty. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright reliability and more about whether the cabin’s cheaper materials and feature complexity age the way you want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia Telluride?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro each bring different visual and equipment upgrades. The X-Line and X-Pro add raised suspension, unique exterior details, and a more rugged look, while the SX trim is the point where more advanced driver-assistance features begin to appear.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and AWD. The AWD system includes a low-speed Lock setting, and the X-Pro adds towing and off-road-oriented hardware.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, junction turning assist, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, Highway Drive Assist 1.5, automatic high beams, driver attention warning, and Rear Occupant Alert. Advanced Highway Drive Assist with Lane Change Assist starts with SX trim, and additional collision-avoidance features are also tied to SX and higher.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, navigation, Kia Connect services, OTA updates, and wireless phone charging. A digital instrumentation panel is available, and the system does not accept climate-control voice commands.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert test drive recorded 9.8 L/100 km in mixed driving for the X-Line and 11.5 L/100 km for the X-Pro, while official Natural Resources Canada ratings are 11.4 L/100 km combined.

Which 2023 Kia Telluride trim should I buy?

The 2023 Kia Telluride is offered in 5 trim levels: EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Telluride’s core strengths with standard AWD and the full-size family-SUV formula. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting point and still want the main safety and tech features.
• SX: This is the best-value trim if you want the strongest mix of equipment and capability. It adds the more advanced Highway Drive Assist setup and unlocks additional collision-avoidance features, making it the sweet spot for many shoppers.
• SX Limited: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and are willing to pay for extra luxury-oriented content. It suits buyers who want the Telluride to feel as premium as possible.
• X-Line: This is the better pick if you like the rugged styling and want the raised suspension and off-road attitude without going all the way to the most specialised version.
• X-Pro: Pick this if you want the most off-road-focused Telluride. It adds all-terrain tires, exclusive 18-inch wheels, improved towing capacity, and the most adventurous hardware in the lineup.

Advanced Highway Drive Assist is standard starting with SX trim, so that is the key safety-package note to keep in mind.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Telluride?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options but still enough demand to keep good examples moving.

• Deal availability: 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 237 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,975 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $41,975 CAD sits slightly below last year's $48,941 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Telluride has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help keep demand healthy in the near term. For a future seller, that means the market may still recognise the model’s strong reputation, but pricing discipline will matter if you want to stand out.

Because the Telluride remains popular and well regarded, it should continue to attract shoppers looking for a premium-feeling family SUV. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in good condition, that broad appeal should help support resale value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Kia Telluride safe?

The 2023 Kia Telluride earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Kia equips every Telluride with forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, junction turning assist, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, Highway Drive Assist 1.5, automatic high beams, driver attention warning, Safe Exit Assist, and Rear Occupant Alert.

Advanced Highway Drive Assist is standard starting with SX trim, and SX and higher also add more collision-avoidance features related to oncoming traffic, evasive steering assist, and lane-change accident prevention. That means lower trims still get a strong safety base, but the more advanced highway and collision-avoidance tech is not universal.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds minor styling updates, new technology, and X-Line/X-Pro trims with more rugged character.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,586 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $41,975 CAD average.
• It keeps the formula largely intact while adding gloss-black exterior detailing on X-Line and X-Pro versions.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the Telluride’s core strengths at a lower used price and with a softer market. If you want the newest nearby version and do not mind paying more, the 2024 is the cleaner premium choice.
