Used 2023 Jeep Wrangler for Sale nearNorth Vancouver, BC

How much does the 2023 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 13.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 793 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 7.83/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability and fun driving experience, and the review summary also points to the Wrangler’s strong personality and adventure-ready appeal. The main trade-offs are high-speed handling and pricing, along with a lack of features such as seat warmers.

For buyers who want a rugged SUV with a strong off-road focus, the Wrangler fits that use case well. It is less convincing if you want a polished daily driver with lots of comfort features.

With 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a vehicle that many drivers feel good about keeping, with the Wrangler’s off-road capability and fun driving experience helping reinforce that confidence. The expert assessment also frames it as a durable, purpose-built SUV with solid front and rear axles and a five-link suspension system.

That said, used buyers should still expect a specialised vehicle with compromises, so condition and maintenance history matter more than they would for a more conventional SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Some popular trims, including the Wrangler Sport, Wrangler Willys Sport, and Wrangler Sahara, do not get locking differentials or meaty tyres, so you should check equipment carefully before assuming every Wrangler is equally trail-ready.
• Powertrain: You can find a Pentastar V6, a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.0-litre Ecodiesel V6, a 6.4-litre V8 in the Rubicon 392, and a plug-in hybrid 4xe with two electric motors and a 17.3-kWh battery pack. The diesel and 4xe are the efficiency-focused choices, while the V8 is the most extreme.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models; elsewhere, they are part of an option package. Lane-keeping assist is not offered at all.
• Infotainment: A 7-inch touchscreen is standard, while an 8.4-inch touchscreen is available. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and over-the-air updates for the Uconnect system are included, but there is no digital key.
• Fuel efficiency: Expect anywhere from the high 10s to the low 12s in litres per 100 kilometres combined, depending on body style and engine choice. The 3.0-litre diesel can achieve 9.5 L/100 km combined, while the plug-in Wrangler 4xe comes in at 4.8 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2023 Jeep Wrangler trim should I buy?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is offered in 6 trim levels: Wrangler Sport, Wrangler Willys Sport, Wrangler Sahara, Wrangler Sahara High Altitude, Wrangler Rubicon, Wrangler Rubicon 392.

Here's the short version:

• Wrangler Sport: This is the entry point, but it skips key off-road hardware such as differential lockers and aggressive dirt tyres, so it makes the most sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Wrangler name.
• Wrangler Willys Sport: This trim adds some Wrangler character, but the available information still points to meaningful equipment gaps versus the more capable trims, so it is best if you value the look and basic formula more than maximum trail hardware.
• Wrangler Sahara: This is the more comfort-oriented choice in the lineup, but it still does not get locking differentials or meaty tyres, so it is not the best pick if off-road capability is your priority.
• Wrangler Sahara High Altitude: This is the trim to consider if you want the standard safety package, since blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control come standard here.
• Wrangler Rubicon: This is the best-value trim for serious buyers, with front and rear differential lockers, a front disconnecting sway bar, rock rails, and skid plates. It is the one to choose if you want the Wrangler’s core capability without jumping to the most expensive model.
• Wrangler Rubicon 392: This is the extreme performance choice, with the 6.4-litre V8 and the most aggressive on-road and off-road personality in the lineup, but it also comes with the highest price and the biggest compromises.

Safety equipment is not generous across the range, so pay close attention to which driver-assistance features are standard on the trim you are considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some patience and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 793 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.64% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,864 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $38,864 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,003 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in more affordably now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if prices stay under pressure. The Wrangler’s strong enthusiast appeal should help support demand, especially for well-equipped trims and cleaner examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler safe?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler earns Good and Marginal ratings from IIHS, and it earns four-star ratings for frontal crash and three-star ratings for rollover from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety equipment includes a rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models; elsewhere, they are part of an option package. Lane-keeping assist is not offered at all.

A key caveat is that some headlights receive a Poor IIHS ranking, and the overall safety picture is not a Wrangler strength.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the Wrangler’s core off-road focus while offering multiple powertrain choices.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $36,080 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $38,864 CAD average.
• It is a distinctive, characterful SUV with removable doors and strong off-road appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,588 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $38,864 CAD average.
• It brings a more modern feel with a refresh focused on technology, safety, and refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the classic Wrangler formula at a more favourable price point, the 2023 is the sensible middle ground. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2022 is the cheaper route in, while shoppers who want the newer refresh should be prepared to pay more for the 2024.
