Used 2023 Jeep Wrangler for Sale nearConcord, ON

How much does the 2023 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 13.60% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 800 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Wrangler earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability and fun driving experience, and the Wrangler’s rugged character comes through clearly in the way it is built and used. The overview also points to its appeal for buyers who want trail ability and distinctive body features rather than a polished daily driver.

The main trade-offs are limited storage space and unimpressive on-road performance. That makes it best suited to you if off-road use and personality matter more than comfort-focused commuting.

Only 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the better examples may move quickly.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a vehicle you can count on for off-road use and a fun driving experience, with the kind of rugged character many buyers want for the long term. The expert review reinforces that dependability theme by describing the Wrangler as a body-on-frame SUV with solid front and rear axles and a five-link suspension system.

For used buyers, the bigger ownership risk is less about basic toughness and more about whether the specific example has been maintained and equipped the way you need.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Sport is the least expensive way in, but it does not include differential lockers, aggressive dirt tyres, or even power windows. Higher trims add more trail-focused hardware, and the Rubicon stands out for buyers who want the strongest off-road setup.
• Powertrain: You can choose from multiple engine options, including a 285-horsepower V6, a 270-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.0-litre diesel, a 6.4-litre V8, and a plug-in hybrid setup. Your choice affects both capability and efficiency.
• Safety package: The standard safety equipment is limited to a rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models, while lane-keeping assist is not offered.
• Infotainment: A 7-inch touchscreen is standard, while an 8.4-inch screen appears on higher-spec examples. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and over-the-air updates for the Uconnect system are included, and the interface also adds useful off-road pages.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel consumption varies widely by engine and body style, ranging from the high 10s to the low 12s L/100 km combined in most trims. The diesel can achieve 9.5 L/100 km combined, while the plug-in hybrid is rated at 4.8 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2023 Jeep Wrangler trim should I buy?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is offered in 1 trim level: Wrangler.

Here's the short version:

The Wrangler is best for you if you want the core Jeep experience and plan to prioritise capability over comfort. The available content points to the Rubicon as the best-value choice for serious trail use, since it adds front and rear differential lockers, a front disconnecting sway bar, rock rails, and skid plates. If you know you will spend a lot of time in the rocks, that is the trim to focus on.

The safety package is limited on most trims, with blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control reserved for the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should have some room to shop carefully without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 800 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.60% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,020 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $38,020 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,005 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests buyers have more leverage today than they did a year ago. For a future seller, it also means you may need to be realistic about how much value the Wrangler can recover if market conditions stay similar.

Even so, the Wrangler’s strong enthusiast appeal helps support demand. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler safe?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler earns Good and Marginal IIHS ratings, and NHTSA gives it four-star ratings for frontal crash and three-star ratings for rollover.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety equipment is limited to a rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models, while lane-keeping assist is not offered.

A key caveat is that some headlights receive a Poor IIHS ranking, and the overall safety picture is mixed compared with more road-focused SUVs.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 keeps the Wrangler’s classic trail-first character with multiple powertrain choices.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,422 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $38,020 CAD average.
• It blends retro styling with genuine off-road ability.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,310 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $38,020 CAD average.
• It adds more modern technology and refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price and current-market availability, the 2023 is the sensible starting point. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2022 is the cheaper route into the same basic Wrangler formula, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer, more refined update.
