This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

The current average of $40,157 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,178 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should focus on buying well and keeping the vehicle in strong condition. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $36,748 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $40,157 CAD average.
• It offers a more polished family SUV feel with standard all-wheel drive.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, deal availability, and owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the better starting point. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the more price-sensitive alternative and still brings a compelling luxury-family-SUV package.
