Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Transit Cargo?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before moving quickly.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 297 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.52% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,237 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Transit Cargo's resale value?

The current average of $41,237 CAD sits slightly below last year's $48,240 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average matters more than usual. Strong condition and documented upkeep should help protect value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Transit Cargo or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better primary choice if you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction and softer pricing. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is still worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2023’s stronger market position.
